Have to disagree im afraid i thought Tetevano's hit was late, off the ball and a clear card for me. Thaler dealt with it correctly with a sin binning. You simply cannot do it.

Thought we controlled the game in the main and deserved the win but it was always going to be scrathy in attack. Gannon amd McLelland excellent. Tnought after recent dips Tommy H and Walters stepped their game up tonight. A good result.

Tonight was about giving Rob & his family the reception they deserved. The performance & result were always going to be secondry. Saying that Gannon was immense he ruined Pryce ,Mclellend & Lui combined well & we got the win we deserved.

I think Tetevano is getting more than his fair share of close attention from the refs.

Sounds like Handley may be out too, hope Levi’s given the nod if so. Could really do with prior returning weds.

If Handley is out then Levi is well capable of playing on the wing or even centre with Briscoe reverting back to the wing.

Theres an easy way to stop being singled out by the refs and thats stop hitting people late and off the ball. We got pinned for one in the 1st half that I think Thaler got wrong but in my opinion he got the Tetevano one spot on. I saw it and instantly thought thats a sin bin. Stupid.

I don't mind it being a penalty and sin bin, it's the bans where I think its going too far, if its not high or reckless, penalty and sin bin should be enough.

I had the same thought with Tetevano but would like to see again to clarify. Absolutely no need for late, off the ball shots especially when he got a four match ban for it earlier this season. Only himself to blame.

I also thought Tetevano stuck a shoulder charge in, in the first half which went unpunished. This could also possibly be reviewed.

Unfortunately we have a discipline problem at the club.
Yes, refs and panels are clamping down, but senior players should know better.
We're having to play too many games with players missing through suspension.
Never mind injuries and covid absences.

It's happening at most clubs, look at the RFL disciplinary reports every week, it's not just us.

It is but I suspect we might lead the league table of players banned. Missed the Tetavano incident, but it will be a shame if the aggression in his game keeps him from getting on the pitch. He's excellent in all other aspects.

Yep spot on. If an event has been dealt with on the field at the time, and a player missing from the field which helps the opposition in that game, leave it be.

Said it before but I suspect the bans are to show the game is doing something, with an eye to potential future lawsuits etc. And in this climate I’m not sure I can blame them.

What’s he to do if the half back shows a dummy at the line, just let him through. The pass is made almost as he’s hit, poor precedent to set.

Like others I think Tetavano is under scrutiny now for the way he plays and anything that puts a player on his backside is going to get binned.

Having seen the tet shot again I was definitely wrong in thinking it was a yellow. Not late at all.
Watching their first try aswel can't tell if we knock it back or they knock it on.
