Risking popular wrath we need to be careful with singo and more so with mulhearn and baldwinson.

While singo has had a good three months (yes that's all) he is still young and he needs to keep this up for the rest of this season before we even think about next.

As for the other two, great prospects but that is it. Singo has been a great prospect for three years now and is only just coming through.

Those who think only one new prop is needed and the kids will pick up the slack from two of the best props we've had in the sl era are delusional.

We have some good and potentially great kids coming through , just look at last night, we just need to be patient and support them. Prop is arguably the most difficult position for a youngster to make a sustained impact at. Just shows what total freaks the Burgess twins are.

If you take a prop from the Championship, you're in the same position Leeds are in with Yates. They are a project, who are going to take 6-12 months to develop or even longer. Look at Amor, when he first came up to SL looked like a fish out of water.

Besides, are there stand out props in the competition this year who aren't on loan or dual reg from a SL club?

Leeds need to sign two quality props.

Is rapira quality? I've not seen much of him so don't have an opinion past what I've read.

That wasn't aimed at Rapira, it was aimed at Lauaki who plays for Bulls now.

He was one of the best in the world a few years ago, and was a regular in the NZ side, but he's had a lot of injury problems since and he's not quite reached the level of performance in his earlier career. He's only 27 though hopefully he can get back to his best if he signs.

With Rapira, it's the same as any other Southern Hemisphere guy coming over here.....is he buying into the experience or is he over here for a pay check. For all the praise of Cuthbertson's performances, the key thing is he's really taken to the club, city, country.

Rapira is more of a Kylie replacement in style. Will run it in hard with safe hands and solid in the tackle. He won't do massive meters. If we see him for what he is he will go ok. If we think he is JP's replacement then he will get hammered.

Eagles prop, early 20s. Mvududu's a centre, only played once for Hunslet this season I think.

Both highly unlikely rumours from our resident Wigan mischief maker.

The way I'd heard it was the level of injuries make him a risk, though a thorough medical will obviously be done.

Didn't realise he was only 27. Less likely to be coming for a pension top up at that age. Also, mostly non Australians seem to settle and stay longer.

Matt Groat has signed for Donny for the rest of the season after being recommend to them by Gary Hetherington. He's 23 and looks to be a very big lad, was due to sign for Salford this season before they pulled out. Another master plan by the sleeve perhaps, season with Donny then to us nxt year. Carl Hall states he's come over with the view of winning a Super League contract for nxt year.

It was a bit underwhelming as a highlights video wasn't it, if the shirts and direction of play didn't keep changing I'd have thought I was on a loop.

He certainly knows where the ground is and how to get there in a hurry.

Tbf, his highlights are mainly based around the commentators saying his name and him not losing any yards or dominatinting a smaller player. Maybe he's the flat track bully we've been missing.
