There making a new version of the Stephen King novel "It". I saw the film before I read the book and theres alot of differences. Apparently the new version is gonna be just like the book so should be good

Just watched Iron Man and was a bit disappointed. Downey's good, but I always thought Iron Man was a bit sh*te as a kid, so maybe that's the problem.

i far prefer old films. clint eastwood,gregory peck,burt lancaster all these guys could act.
modern films have such brilliant special effects you sometimes forget about the acting.
the war of the worlds has great special effects but the acting,dialogue and such is shockingly bad. tom cruise,for me, is a very poor actor. he's not the only one though by a long way

IMO really films, which i hoped would be loads better are:

Master and Commander (Russel Crowe, such a plonding effort)

Blood Diamond (Leo Di'Caprio trying a south african accent for 2 hours, please!!!)

Miami Vice (Jamie Foxx, so good in Collateral and Ray, so bad in this)

American Gangster (Denzel is the daddy!!! Awesome in this, so convincing, but the ending??? What a disappointment.)

I hate all those films. I only really expected Goodfellas and NCFOM to be good. But they weren't. They really were not good.

Speeking of zombie films. Has anyone seen Land of the Dead? Is it worth viewing? It's Romero. Didn't he do Dawn of the Dead too? Back in the 7tees?

Whats wrong with Goodfellas??

I'm surprised the Matrix sequels haven't been mentioned. IMO the second is drivel, and whilst the third is not in itself a terrible film neither stand up when the quality of the original, or the amount of hype they received, are taken into consideration.

Agreed the 2nd film was dire. Also surprised Terminator 3 hasn't been mentioned. They should have never made it.

I enjoy the "saw" films though and am looking to the 5th one. Glad they haven't gone down the same route as Nightmare on Elm street, Halloween and Friday the 13th, yet!

Christian Bale (Ace) is in the new Terminator.

Yeah the stills from the set look very impressive.

Bale is quality, he hand picks what he wants to do and is usually on the money, see Batman and American Psycho for examples.

T4 should be awesome, with Bale behind it its adds some serious weight behind it and the makers are going for more plot and grit to try and rid the memories of the, so bad, T3.
