| I personally think we should sign another centre , a back up HB and a back rower in the Ali mould.

Agreed, I cant see it happening though. With Buderus going home, I can only see us going in for another hooker, but id like Burrow to play 9 next year, having a full pre-season to train and get more into the role, and sign a new 6/7/ (Rangi Chase please! ). I still think we did the wrong thing keeping Webb on, BJB should be number one next season and Hardaker number 2.

Frosties, are you saying GH will only sign a hooker replacement for Buderus (Sau Sau?) or a new 6/7 as well with Burrow moving to hooker? Also you don't think we willl get a new centre?

Sorry wasn`t suggesting he was our next centre but as already mentioned possibly our new hooker.
TBH the way Burrow has been playing I would not be unhappy to see him and McShane as our interchange hookers.
An organising half back and a centre would be my choice.
Still not sure what we are getting out of retaining Kylie with Amor being my choice .

| Keeping Webb on makes sense if there isn't an experienced centre coming. Even if he's not playing that well himself (which he's not), our backline otherwise will look raw to say the least - particularly if we get any injuries at all.
As for getting a forward in the Ali mould - good luck finding anyone that's available. Remember we only got him because he had a spat at the Warriors and was freed part way through the season. He'd most likely have joined another NRL side had he left at the end of that year.

| Just heard today that young Liam Hood has been offered an improved new 4yr deal (he still got 2yr left on his current deal) and as of yesterday we have still not signed a replacement for Buderus so the young lad maybe thrown in with Mcshane next year in the hooking role

| Quote Hetherington has also confirmed that the Rhinos will be spending their full salary cap for next season despite the costs of redevelopment work at the stadium. "It is true that we hope to commence this development in one of the toughest financial climates the country has faced for many decades however we are committed to improving our facilities for the future generations of supporters here in Leeds who expect to watch their team in a top class stadium. The current board have been responsible for the first piece of major development to the ground in over 70 years with the construction of the Carnegie Stand in 2006 and we are just as committed now, as we were then, to investing fully in our squad and rugby operation. We will be spending the full salary cap again and it is very important, of course, that we manage this in the most effective way."'"
More or less confirms that there is more signings to come imo.

So far we have what...
Confirmed out: Cross, Burgess, Senior and Lauitiiti
Confirmed in: Moore
New deals: Sinfield, Webb, LeuLuai, JP(...think there are others too but can't remember)
Looking at that we must have a significant amount of cap space - 2 major names out, 4 of our bigger names on new deals late in their career and therefore presumably on (significantly?) less money (in Sinfield's case he's not that late in his career but has been given a long deal which often means a player has traded a bit less per year for more security).
Have any of the younger players signed new deals? Presumably some of the money will be spread around there as players mature/become established first teamers.

| The 2012 season tickets go on sale next Wednesday. Is GH going to announce any player signings beforehand to help market the tickets and encourage us all to renew for next season?

The problem is that he could have probably got away without spending the full cap and still had a better squad of players.
Wasting money on Webb, Kylie and Kirke is just criminal.

| I've just seen that Wakefield have signed Dean Colis from the NRL on a 3 year contract. He plays centre but I don't know how good he is. It just reminded me if Gary H has made any progress in getting an experienced centre to replace Senior next year in order to give our youngsters 1/2 years to gain more experience

I hope not. If so, what the hell is going on?
Seems the current set up don't think that much to the talent coming through.

Keep Kirke.... Let Amor go ..... Sign Moore
It all makes perfect sense to me

I think the Moore signing is more worrying than retaining kirke. Watched him quite closely since he signed. And if we thought hauraki was a turnstile in defence, moore is alot worse! Needs alot of work!
