Has Callum casey been injured doesn't seem to of featured much in the u20's games i've seen?

Thats correct, looks as though he will be leaving with Rory Kettlewell and Michael Coady to be honest.

He was injured at the start of the season, but has been on loan with Oldham for a few months and is now there untill the end of the season along with Danny Bravo. As for Rory Kettlewell, he left a while ago, Michael Coady is leaving too but will complete his loan spell at Doncaster for the rest of the season.

So who out of the youngsters are leaving/left?

Rory Kettlewell was signed up on a 3 year deal wasn't he? But hes been released already.
Michael Coady - Contract terminated a year early.
Callum Casey - Only on a 1 year deal, been injured and now not in the first team plans and will leave at the end of the season.

So they're the only the youngsters who will be released at the end of the season who are currently on fulltime contracts.
The rest of the youngsters - Brad Singleton, Jared Steward - both on 3 year deals, Liam Hood as well on a 2 year?
With Jamel Chisholm becoming fulltime on a 2 year deal starting from next season!

Ketlewell was brought in by Mcnumnuts after being released by the pies who signed him after he was released by a union side and should never have been anywhere near a leeds team i watched the lad get put on as a sub in 4 maybe 5 games for the 20s and he looked like bamby on ice with his lil skinny legs anytime the defence got to him he would panick and lose the ball and was just a massive target that the opposition just swatted out the way everytime they ran past him

It was embarrassing at times and you would have thought being released by the pies and the union side would have given the powers that be a clue about the kid but No somebody at leeds thought he was worthy of a 2yr deal

No big deal really that he didn't make an impression at Leeds. He won't have cost the club that much and if what you say about his form in the under 20's is correct it appears they've probably made the right decision to release him now.

Long was shipped out of Wigan at a similar point in his career, Widnes and especially St Helens won't have regretted taking him on the rebound.

Only last week Phil Clarke was explaining how Sam Tomkins was told by Wigan his future lay elsewhere not so long ago and he only stayed with them as no-one else would take him on. Now he's currently the hottest property in SL.

Hindsight as ever is a wonderful thing.

Not according to our coach who says they are not trying to make him into a centre but his defence there has been good.

I can see it happening to be honest, straight swap with himself and Delaney instead of bringing in another Centre.

Rumour has it that GH has lined up a quality, experienced centre to replace Senior. There's speculation on a marquee signing. Ablett's done a good job but he's a back rower and not that top quality cutting edge centre we need.

That's a good point actually......I think to be fair that Cross for example was signed up before Mac was made up to head coach after Bluey's sudden decision to quit. It's was hardly Mac's fault that things didnt work out as he obviously had no input into his addition to the squad. With a full pre-season to further shape the squad to his liking for 2012, things may just actually improve a little.

I've been at the cricket for the past couple of days & there is a fair amount of initial grond works taking place around the South Stand.
I'm no engineer but they look like test drill holes for foundations & also they have dug a 1m deep x 0.5m wide trench at the edge of the pitch all along the Southstand.

Just got back from the Cup Final and what a great performance from the Rhinos. They were unlucky to loose, suffered bad refereeing decisions and were overall the better team.
On the journey back home it made me think about next years squad. If they can play like today all the time (although they are inconsistent) does it alter GH's recruitment plans. Buderus is going and needs replacing but do we need a new centre as Carl Ablett is growing into the postion? Obviously if GH has already signed somebody that's different.
What about hallf-back. The team seem to play better when Burrow comes on but McD seems to not want to start with Burrow. Burrow has said he wants to start the match and not be on the sub's bench. McD thinks differently. What are his plans for 2012? For income/season ticket reasons GH might want 1/2 quality additions to the squad to encourage sales for 2012 irrespective of how the team is now playing.
