I think people are writing Wigan off far too quickly, Wigan have put 50 points on Leigh and beat Salford in August. I don’t think they’ll do anything in the play offs but will make the top 6, they are too far ahead for both a Hull side and Cas to catch them imo with lots of clubs in the mix playing each other.

The next few weeks could be more interesting than the play offs.

Completely in our own hands now.

There is no gimmies in the last 4, Wakey have found some form just in time to play us and they always up their game against Leeds, their GF every year.

God if we only had Gale and Mik fit for Saints I'd be very confident indeed. At some point we're going to absolutely shock them, they've no idea what's coming with this team. We almost did it in that cup tie and I'd love to see us play them with a proper team playing.

I am scarred when it comes to Wigan but reckon they will make the 6. Would not surprise me if they edged Cas today.

Last match for Wigan is home to Catalan, by then Catalan may want to rest players rather than have a brutal game, so they may have an easier game.

If you look at our injuries and compare it to Saints.
It would be something like them missing:

Percival = Sutcliffe yes it`s stretching it a bit I know.
Naiqama = Hurrell
Lomax = Gale
Walmsley = Oledzki
Thompson = Mellor who is better than Thompson imo

We also have Walker missing but Myler is playing better so I avoided that one.

Take that lot out of the Saints team and any other team for that matter and I doubt they make the top four.

*sorry can’t agree Walmsley would be equivalent to Tetavano in a squad by squad comparison; I have taken Lees out instead but happy to switch around. Similarly we have put Simm straight in but I think in a long term injury situation we would be more likely to play Mata’utia there with Batchelor in the back row and then Wingfield on the bench.

Probably not but id prefer to cement 5th without needing a win against Hull KR

Play off finish should be safe after tonight. Key factor is that Cas and HKR have to play each other which hurts their win percentage.I think we just keep putting it out their. I wouldn't be leaving players out. Realistically we probably don't beat either Saints or Catalans unless we can get some halves on the pitch

I’m excited about Sezer, he is a quality player. Thought King played well against Hull, we will need a prop at least as good as him to fill the gap when he leaves.

I expect we might be looming for a new winger after T Briscoe ends his contract, and then really it’s up to the young lads to develop. We’re looking strong again.
