| Out of all the 9's linked i still reckon giving Mcshane the shirt is the way to go.
The more i think about the New prop we've signed along with retaining Kirke it's ridiculous when we have Amor to return plus Ambler and the potential in Singleton ad Syron.
I really hope we sign a new Centre and a game-breaking back row and trust the acadamy to provide more "squad players" rather than signing/retaining average players.

Amor could be staying at Wakefield.. if the price is right apparently.

I agree with all of this Rhinoms....but it appears the club has its own 'grandiose' ideas of making Leeds a team of mid table mediocrity (if we're lucky).

Great innit...the team due to be expelled from SL gets our Lauititi and Amor; we get Moore and Kirke.

| Re Amor; Now we have signed Moore, and Griffin too maybe (?), how many games would Amor and Ambler get next season anyway, if and when they do come back? And as for the 9 shirt, I'm with the McShane "club" too. With him we have a kid who wants to play for the club, and would give us 100% week in week out, while the alternative is to sign another fringe NRL signing who may either not fit in well, or like Eastwood become homesick after 6 months and want to go home. It should be better the devil you know, for me.

Is it a possibility that they could both play out on loan for a further season at their present clubs?
If they are both still under contract for 2012, then would it not be a good move to give the lads plenty of game time whilst out on loan before deciding if either will replace Kylie when he retires?
I'm pretty sure that we paid a fee in the region of £10,000 for Ambler and I'm sure GH will want to see a return on his outlay so I'd be surprised if he was allowed to leave

| Amor has come on pretty well this last year and, in my opinion, was deserving of a run at Leeds next year, but with the re-signings I doubt he will get the nod. Mcshane has shown enough for me to think he is now better than anything we will pick up in the bargain bins and deserves a good run if he can return to his early season form (y'know the form he was in before he 'needed a rest').
A solid talented centre is required more than anything, but wouldn't say no to an organising scrum half with fantastic kicking game.

The whole concept of getting another club to do the recruiting research has been a farce.

What is so wrong in saying to Newcastle if they want Buderus find us a decent replacement? Seems reasonable to me.

Yeah right ... You want the Ferrari F355 back you sold me... No prob I know nothing about cars specifically that might be available so you find me something else good enough to swap it for and I will take your word for it that it's worth it. Deal done.

Is that what Leeds said to Newcastle? No. If it was Leeds would have taken the first name given by Newcastle and they didnt. They said come up with a list of decent replacements and Leeds would consider them.
But don't let that get in the way of another little rant. It's almost as embarrassing as suggesting Wilson is ready for Super League.

Still think it might be more prudent to not leave the research of options to a third party with a vested interest.
Rant ? Bizarre !
As for Wilson not being ready for SL..... You think the likes of Kirke, Hauraki and the whole Bradford team are ?

Kirke & Hauraki, yes.
The whole Bradford team, no. They've also made the mistake of throwing young lads in too early.

| Nantwiche the club have done the right thing in asking Newcastle to come up with a suitable deal in order for us to release DB.
They are doing the running around and are after OUR player therefore it makes sense for them to do the leg-work ,possible negotiating etc etc and compiling the ist for us to review before any deal gets done.

By the looks of that article and the quotes from Gidley I'm thinking Buderus will see out his contract.
Why did we supposedly want Andrew Ryan though? He's certainly not a hooker (but would fit in with our 30+ forwards I guess)

| To admit that Leeds are willing to release Buderus under any circumstances suggests to me that he has already booked his flight home - it would be foolish to dangle a dream return under his nose then take it away, next year he would be all but useless for us knowing what he was missing compared to what he has
