ATEOTD we're not getting too far ahead of ourselves yet, just enjoying a hard earned victory that has been a long time coming having been denied at the last minute for the last two seasons.

I think the fact we're currently top, says at the moment we're in form, I'm not going to say we're going to win everything, or indeed anything, but I think it's safe to say on the field, injuries or not, we are better than you. We've come on leaps and bounds from the 52-6's and the 36-0's we used to get, and I think it's fair we get some credit for what we've done.

I will also add well done to leeds for 3 back to back to back championships, please give us some credit, trophy or not, for the hard work done by the team, the club and the fans to get from 3,500 to 8,400 so far this season, from last to first so far this season, from nothing in 64 years to 2 challenge cup finals.

Cheers buddy. You have to excuse the uppityness (?) of some of our fans. We are just like your little brother down the road but last night we managed to get one over our big brother. Not really significant to yourselves but enormous in terms of our development. Your 3 back to back titles is something we could only dream of, truely, well done. Hopefully, one day we will manage a grand final win, and if we get there, we know you'll be backing us. We saw the support you gave us at Twickenham in the CC final against the Saints. When we won back-toback-to-back SL gold I never thought 'wow we're the best in Yorkshire' I just enjoyed actual success you can guage in the form of silverwear. Silly me.

Like the last couple of seasons people will talk Brown up as a coach and this is more than deserved for a large parts. There are a lot of things he is doing right and you can see Huddersfield evolving and improving. But let's see how he looks in October, no doubt by then form will have improved - tailed off - blown out and got better again. Brown by some in known as a choker, so he still has a huge monkey to shift. Time will tell.

i think you're forgetting that although it was 50 years or whatever, for a lot of them we weren't even in the same league as you....and even going back 4 or 5 years we were nowhere near to competing with you.

if it was 50 years where both clubs were equal then it would'nt have been such a big deal but to come from where we have in a few years is nothing short of remarkable.

cheers, time will tell but we are certainly showing the form right now,but its the form in september that matters, but friday night showed that we can beat leeds at headingley so if that scenario comes around again. . . .
