Carl Ablett's try V Wakefield brought up Leeds' 10,000 points for in the SL Regular Rounds.

The total came in Leeds' 334th game and is made up of 1,728 Tries, 1,527 Goals and 34 Drop Goals.

I have no (independent) way of verifying what Farrell did or didn't do so it's not something I'd personally look to include here.

The last time Rob Burrow missed a kick at goal for Leeds was V Bradford, 7th July 2006. That game ended with his match winning conversion off the Southstand touchline into the empty building site.

Bradford have now become the 3rd team to concede over a thousand points V Leeds during the SL Era.

London/Harlequins - 1,220
St Helens - 1,050
Bradford - 1,012

From the Leeds point of view it appears the order of preference to play Bradford is:

1 - At a neutral venue
2 - In Bradford
3 - At Headingley

The next time Leeds and Bradford meet it will be the 50th clash of the SL Era.

The Keith Senior try was Leeds' 100th of the season (18 games - All Comps)

The lowest total set by Leeds during the SL Era was 116 (26 games) in 1996 while the highest was 258 (36 games) in 2005

Kevin Sinfield has now kicked 700 Goals + 7 Drop Goals in the SL Regular Rounds while Rob Burrow needs 2 for his century of place kicks in the same.

I suspect that when the lads play at the Grotton they are just focussed on getting the job done as quickly as possible, so they can leave and get back to a proper stadium!

How many would that have been with 4 points for a try?

Am I correct in thinking that we'd be unable to adjust it to 1 point for a drop goal as records never made a distinction between penalties, conversions and drop goals?

Lewis Jones scored 144 tries for Leeds currently placing him 10th on their all time list but now coming under pressure from McGuire and Senior.



Correct, prior to the reduction to 1 point for the 1974/5 season drop goals were just one of the three forms of goal and all were valued at 2 points obviously.

Last week Kevin Sinfield joined Joe Thompson on 1,883 points for Leeds, here is Sinfield's total broke down between comps:

SL Regular Rounds:
Played 214 + 24, 39 Tries, 700 Goals, 7 Drop Goals, 1563 Points

SL Play Offs:
Played 16 + 1, 2 Tries, 42 Goals, 4 Drop Goals, 96 Points

Challenge Cup:
Played 31 + 2, 14 Tries, 73 Goals, 4 Drop Goals, 206 Points

World Club Challenge:
Played 2 + 0, 0 Tries, 8 Goals, 2 Drop Goals, 18 Points

Total:
Played 263 + 27, 55 Tries, 823 Goals, 17 Drop Goals, 1883 Points

Same as I did probably. Go through a boatload of paper and pens and spend an age scribbling and cross-checking.

These days I use nothing more sophisticated than Excel '97. I have no real knowledge of the programme and basically anybody with a computer and a couple of hours to spare each week (with a bit of discipline and attention to detail) could do the same, ongoing.

The difficultly is filling in the gaps.

I'm only amazed that a club the size of Leeds doesn't have this type of info on-line.
