Smith's enthusiasm (even on one leg) will be missed but not his current level of ability which appears to be diminished on the evidence of this season.

If it is a serious tear he will be out for 8-10 weeks

Whilst a teeny tiny cameo in a season blighted by injury I thought his timing on the pass for Watkins 1st try was a great piece of centre play.

When fully fit I still think he's the best option for the right centre position currently on our books.

Agreed. Good bit of centre play. He gave Watkins space showed quick hands with good pass, backed up his winger for a class try.

Kirke is a 2nd row and only playing at prop because of injuries.

Bit unfair. Kirke has stepped up to the mark this season as a temporary prop. Averaging just under 21 tackles per game, 2nd best prop for metre per carry (7.09)

Just don't (under any circumstance) tell thebloodbath who tops that stat at Leeds.

Unfortunately I'd agree with that. Which pretty much sums up our right centre predicament rather well.

A tad harsh on Smith IMO. First opportunity this year in centre and was playing when clearly not fit.

While I am not one for spurting man juice all over him, you are the complete opposite with smith. He could win man of the match in a grand final and you would still call it average

No the MoM in the GF was a good performance and well deserved! That is not, nor has never been, my point.

I just think that he, in general, is average. Being average doesn't mean that he can't have occasional stand out, excellent performances, which he has clearly had and top marks to him for it. My golf would be described as average, but I once got round in par!
