You Lanky's certainly seem to hold grudges, as evidenced by Graham's dummy spitting at the end of the game.

We remember Robbie Mears, Graham Mackay, Pryce smacking Sinfield from behind, Pryce's court visits, Long's betting and desertion of his country, Cunningham's supplement issues etc, but can still see through these incidents to see the talent on show as well.

Imagine, for example Leeds go into the GF with only one halfback. Sinfield is crocked and Burrow unfit. Only McGuire plays. Saints go out and Gilmour chicken wings McGuire early doors or Maurie does the Great Khali head press on him during the wrestle on the floor. Would there not be an outburst of disgust from the Leeds fans? I think there would, obviously a defeat would amplify the bitterness of the backlash, but the anger would still be there.

I don't think they are with Wellens, Gidley, Pryce, Long, Cunningham, Graham and Roby in there.

It's fairly easy to get Graham off his game without resorting to such illegal tactics anyway.

He does get wound up, but where is the evidence that it deters from his games? He's never been sent off and has never had a bad game for Saints that I can remember.

It detracts from his game because he makes stoopid decisions like for example chasing Palea'asina twenty metres and ending up getting ten minutes sit down, lucky it wasn't red.

He's still a quality player otherwise mind but he's a bit still to learn in the control department.

He is a joke player. No one is scared of him. His performances are so anonymous he's had to dye his hair gold (Camp yellow?) so he can be noticed out there. Shocking on Friday again, the impact of a wet paper towel.

You clearly dont know your rugby league if you thought Bailey was shocking! He made at least 3 awesome tackles that denied Saints clean breaks. Its not all about ball in hand, skill actually occurs in the defensive line too you know! Bailey has had a similar layoff to Maurie and im damn sure who had the best game!

Perhaps you need to have a word about Bailey's impact with Fash.....

We lost the best British forward in the game in Ellis carried Bailey and somehow still manage to be top with 1 game left!

This isn't tennis you know. Its' a team sport.

Graham might arguably be the best prop in the comp. He might arguably be man of steel.

What Bailey is that Graham is not is an integral part of a quality pack of forwards that have enjoyed a period of success and dominance when it matters most against Graham and his cronies.

Would I rather have our pack containing Bailey or your pack with the brilliant individual Graham?

That particular Graham 'red mist' episode almost certainly cost St Helens a point, could have cost them the game and had Leeds' game at Wakefield not been moved to the same night to protect the integrity of the comp it could have cost St Helens their precious League Leaders Shield.
