We didnt recruit Peacock and Kylie when they were nearly 35 they were both 28 when they made there debuts for us.

Everybody said we were done last season and 'that team' was too old and we won the GF because thats what we do!! Warringtons team is older than ours and they won the LL and have reached the CCF. Age is just a number. A good old player is better than a rubbish young player.

Hull will be average SL for a few seasons yet and an average SL team is poor RL team!!

Also please enlighten me on who are officially the best club side in the world. If its not Leeds Rhinos then I'm stumped, because I thought we played manly for the WCC and the right to call ourselves the best in the world!!

Richard Moore has been a useful squad player so far this term. Hasn't let anyone down and is our Mr Offload at the moment. A sensible pick-up. Just throwing money around doesn't automatically get you the silverwear. But what will automatically come is the pressure to win stuff. You expect it, I expect other cod heads will.

Leeds' homegrown backbone has being our catalyst to major success. Food for thought.

I said that I had been told Leeds had already made a big name overseas signing. Nothing to do with Andy Wilson, and Rhino2009 said what Andy Wilson had said which kind of tied in with what I had heard.

The bit about Elland Road, was something I put not Andy Wilson, and it was just a personal view saying they are probably keeping it quite until the announcement at Elland Road was made, which was supposed to be imminent at that time and still is "allegedly".

The other thing is, what about the Bradford situation .... Assuming the Bulls do implode at some point and get liquidated / relegated, there's going to be a few decent players kicking around that will be going for the cost of a contract.

And there are even a few that would be of interest to the Sleeve as players we could slot in ...

The point is, why sign someone 'now' when there could be someone cheaper available very soon.

Do you not think other SL clubs might have exactly the same idea, with the resulting bun fight meaning the risk is too great to get the targeted player(s) ?
