| Yep, I felt the intent was there. Lucky it didn't connect with jaw or cheekbone and hopefully no serious damage to the larynx

Personally I think he`s lucky to be charged on a grade B .
But that`s the inconsistency of the disciplinary panel.
Should be a cracker tonight and very difficult to predict.
They`ve got the better halves and both packs look well matched with us slightly edging it.
Their backs slightly edge ours.
All depends on how the half backs perform tonight.
Hopefully Williams is still rusty and Austin doesn`t need to convince us to sign him!
Wire to win by 7.

| I can see us losing tonight - it’s a very tight turnaround on a big effort against Hull.
Having said that we have some high quality rotation available so.. just need a bit of luck and the right selection.

That's a rather lazy, very overused phrase. What on earth is it inconsistent compared to?

| To be fair selection is a constant pain with COVID and injuries without time between fixtures. See where Agar is going with the side tonight; can’t afford for Gale to have an off day looking at the 9 6 and 7 and Myler will have to get himself up in the line. I would have been tempted to rest Newman for this one and play Sutcliffe left centre.
Anyway the usual disruption beforehand maybe Agar has had his hand forced a bit. Looking forward to it.

| Don't get it putting Luke Briscoe at sub unless he's going to come on for Dwyer.Surely O'Connor would have been a better option.

Maybe he is thinking he will take Newman off given the injury or maybe a back is carrying something. Briscoe has covered hooker before and a bit more coverage for a number of positions

| Looks very strong that wire team, it'll be a tough ask and I hope Gale manages his point to prove in the right way. Still think we'd get more change out of zane starting him off the bench and having a strong fresh prop rotation.

Are you Marty in disguise?
Unfortunately I don`t keep a track on all that goes on with the disciplinary.
I just note them as they happen and it appears some are more/less lenient than others.
Deliberate use of the forearm head high in my opinion is much worse than a slightly late hit to the shoulder of an attacking player.
One gets 1-2 the other got 4.

| Might revise my statement that our pack is slightly better than theirs with Leeming and Mellor missing.
Wire by 13 now.
Btw I`ve never got one prediction right so far.

| Decent half.
Not sure Wire will make as many mistakes in the second half and we'll need to tighten up the defence in our own 20.
Even if Walker does get fit, he will struggle to get past Myler.
Smith has made a difference when he came on.
And it seems to be coming more clear that Hurrell will make way for Austin. He's a liability.
And as for Kendal......

| Myler superb tonight, Mik even superberer.
Really impressed with that first half. Low sun was causing us problems for a few sets there but we’re settled now.
Couple of players need to step up a bit second half, and look out for our left hand side putting something together, I think Newman is brewing. He looks much more physical now, like a slimline Oledski.

| Warrington are pretty poor bar a couple of soft tries.
Could rack up a score if we can keep hold of the ball. Pack going well again, and Myler is on fire
Should be going in 12 up, bum call for the Holroyd try, no way was it forward.

| What's a thoroughly enjoyable half. Just hope Leeds can be the side that fixes up these yardage errors and some lingering Ill discipline. Myler quality and Mik really is the best prop in the comp right now.

| Defence was very worrying for 20 odd minutes but we seemed to sort it out, my big worry is getting tired and Warrington stepping up a gear, Clarke hasn’t done much i think that will change, our attack seems good and were making a lot of metres with Handley and Briscoe helping out.
Myler has been immense and Oledski is ine of if not the best forwards in the league at the moment

| Think Leeds have done some pretty poor stuff but smart moments in attack have given us points, surely Warrington can't be as bad second half? Hopefully both sides improve, as this is poor to watch.

| Cut out the errors second half and we keep up the dominance down the middle, and we should win with a bit to spare. I expect a response this half from Warrington so we must repel and hang in when it comes

| Honestly think Mik is one of the best props in the world right now. He saved the Clark try, scored another, does an immense amount of hard work down the middle, had a good engine and can even pass.
Really like the way the side is shaping up at the moment. Add Sezer on our limp RHS and some more experience on the young players (plus a full, fit-ish pre-season would help) and we are looking useful.
With regard to responses: we are at home. It’s us that should be coming out with a response, not waiting to defend the opposition.
