Catalans have been weekened by the bans and injuries aswell. We need to capitalise on this and punish them. This shouldn’t be close, but knowing Leeds style they like to take the foot off the gas. Must win.

They have less missing than the last time we played them, which even then was less than they had missing against various sides the other month.

They have some big lads and talent, especially in the backs, and some thugs in the Pack, with Evil Edna and Mental Micky out theres still Brekyerlegs Bird. Kassiano looked to be struggling and Tomkins chiming in brings a lot of their points so fingers crossed.

Williame, Tomkins, McIlorum, Simon, Edwards, Batieri, Broughton, Moa, Tierney are some huge losses for Catalan and they’ll have to shift their squad around considerably.

Unfortunate T.Brsicoe is out for season he's been one of our consistent players this year and had some good performances. I wouldn't risk Hurrell he was still in a boot yesterday and I think we have enough to beat Catalans without him with all there absentees so I rather save Hurrell for rest of our fixtures and hopefully Ward returns for this one and can get some minutes and help our pack out back end of season.

Even better if cats decide its not worth trying as they're missing so many....

I might be tempted to put Oledski back in for Singleton, he should be fresh and will be a handful down the middle for them.

Agree re. Hurrell. I know he played with it to good effect at the weekend, but when a player has a structural type injury you're probably just going to make it worse (a la T Briscoe).

We are definately going to miss Hurrel, he's been our only point of attack for weeks!

From a catalan perspective this is a vital match ,but we are missing the banned 5 and have a lot of long term injuries-Broughton Tierney Moa Baitier1. Then there are last Saturday's injuries Yaha Bousquet-an absolutely crucial player and Kasiano ,about whom I know nothing in terms of whether they will play. As for Smith he has been close to hopeless ,but we really need him now.

So making the optimistic view that Bousquet Yaha and Kasiano can play we would go Gigot-Romano Mead Whitley Yaha -Bird Langi -Bousquet Da Costa Maria Garcia Jullien Casty- Plus Kasiano Goudemand Albert Belman. These are the only 17 players in our squad ,which appears to have 27 names, that remain

Not definitely, swollen ankle but Agar has said he will be in the 19 and is hopefully he will play, Lui took a knock to the hip but is fine apparently.

If Hurrell feels fit to play then he needs to play, we need to get this all done and dusted in the next 2 games.

Edwards, not guilty, free to play. Haha. Dont know where the reports of a 4 match ban came from but he got off apparently.

I really couldn't care less about Simon, and Williame, although do question how you get bans overturned. And I think Mcllorum punishment is harsh, and not sure is sending off was right in the first place. But Edwards off scott free is absolute embarrassment for the RFL and the game. He should have been banned for rest of season. He was an absolute disgrace throughout. Not sure how he got away with two cautions in the first place, but his major charge again getting away with is a ridiculous decision.
