There were definitely boos coming from the Southstand every time he got the ball, and I'd be enclined to say fair enough, why should any of us show any loyalty to him who clearly couldn't give a stuff about the club and it's great tradition?

I know you come from a football background where booing players you don't like (even if they are playing for your team, see the recent England game for example) is the accepted norm, but IMO it has no place in RL.

Ive said it a few times, but i dont get why fans cant draw similarities between the normal work place for 'you or i' and a player playing for his employer. This loyalty thing can apply to players who've come through the ranks in a family unit and in other instances which is great and should be applauded. But the same can be applied to the common work place, how many people show 'loyalty' to their employer and wouldnt leave to a better opportunity or when things arent right?....of course you would and who could blame you, but why should it be any different for a rugby player doing his job?

168 meters as interchange prop (the role he was brought in to do IMO as Scruton's replacement in the squad) last week, which together with Leuluai upping his workload went some way to compensate for Peacock's absence and Bailey's limited gametime.

In The Australian today the Dogs are quoted as saying they expect to have Eastwood signed up next week, with some sort of compromise with Leeds on the fee. It also said that they would already have done it but Leeds asked to wait until after the Cup Final. Lets hope this doesn't distract anyone, Eastwood in particular.

It also mentioned that Willie Mason was 'offered' to Leeds (presumably by his agent) but they told him they weren't interested (possibly money although hopefully moreso because the guy's a d*ckhead). So KR/Hudds for him.

Interestingly Les Cats are doing the same thing with Dallas Johnson as we are with Eastwood, holding out for $100k to release him.
