| Given they way he has played most weeks, and assuming we sing someone to replace him, he won’t really be missed.
Let’s hope that whoever gets the 7 shirt next season will be a bit more dynamic and committed.

| Along with Austin, he'll be a player we talk about in 10 years time saying "oh yeh, completely forgot he played for us!"
A stark reminder that big names don't always work out...

| Yeah poor signing overall. Looked disinterested more often than not or injured.

| Infuriating player.
Capable of producing moments of magic but more often has been riddled with injuries, seemed massively uninterested and has generally been pretty bog standard for a supposed impact player.
Hopefully now the decks are being cleared, the pressure is off and he can go out on a high and maybe remembered in a more positive light.
Heres hoping.

"It’s been a really good experience, but I’m really keen to get home – I’ve been thinking about it for a long time,” he said.
“Driving to games, thinking about going home, it’s not healthy. I’m over the moon to be coming back to Australia and back in the NRL, to have the opportunity to play there again."

| There's no doubt he's been a disappointing signing. There's obviously a good player in there, but his Leeds career has been hampered by regular injuries and inconsistent form, and age has probably caught up with him to a certain extent. A good example of an Agar signing that looked great on paper if he played to his full potential every week.
Unfortunately the other big Agar signings have been similarly disappointing, with disciplinary issues, injuries, health, and mental issues all coming to the fore at different times - Tetevano, Fusitua, Austin and Bentley - we could also throw in Gale and maybe others as well. It goes to show the big risk in great 'on paper' signings. It's likely that a big reason we took a punt on Austin was the chance of reproducing the Austin-Sezer combination seen at Canberra, but I don't think it ever really got going for one reason or other.

| With hindsight you can obviously criticise the signing. But at the time it was an example of the sort of signing everyone is calling for us to make now.
If anything it proves it’s not an exact science.

Think this confirms what we already new, he hasn’t been interested, and doesn’t want/never wanted to be here. It’s unfortunate that we gave no choice but to puck him for the rest of the season.

Must have been creating an opening for Jack to come in as saviour then
Sinfield was a great on-field leader (and perhaps in the dressing room too), but his various stints of coaching in either code have not exactly matched the heights set in his playing career.

Exactly.
At the time, both Sezer and Tetevano were what we wanted and needed.
Doesn't always work out.
Currently we've got no halves and are 2 props down for next season.
But at least we've got 3 full backs.

| I feel like we got the exact version of Sezer that was evident at Huddersfield. His star days were long behind him. Giants fans had the same complaints as we do now.
And also we got pretty much the same version of Tetavano at the Roosters/Penrith. Solid but not the marquee star we needed.

| I can’t remember rightly the back end of Sezers time at Huddersfield. He had a really good first year, and then the year we signed him was ‘injured’ but I seem to remember Hudds fans at the time thinking it was because he was moving on.
Tet was good for two really good NRL teams he should have been better but at times has probably been victim of expectation or trying too hard.
Nonetheless they were two ‘names’
It isn’t always the answer.

| I remember someone from Hudds (Jools maybe) coming on and saying he got the monk on and turned up to games sulking and gobbing off once he was out of the team.

I know there’s other reasons, and we shouldn’t use it as an excuse, but some of the inconsistencies suffered in the spine this year go hand in hand with how inconsistent we’ve been as a team. Those same spine players being inconsistent themselves when they have been fit hasn’t helped either.

| Really disappointed with Sezer's time at Leeds, I was excited when we signed him and had high hopes of us having an ex-Canberra first grade half back pairing.
Funny how form fluctuates so much with some players - I'd say especially NRL players for some reason. They seem to look amazing for a couple of seasons and regularly fall of a cliff at some point. You really can tell the pure class players who are consistent over a career, different gravy.
Anyway good luck to him, one thing's for sure is that Leeds are going to look and play very differently next year with new 1, 6, 7, plus possibly a new forward and centre.

| Sezer just wasn't the leader we have desperately needed. If anything he's been one of the first to go MIA when the going got tough. He'll need to change that attitude at Wests, who have a really weak squad in NRL terms. Maybe as its his last shot he may put himself in the mix in a way he just didn't for Leeds.
