I did and everyone I knew did. They didn't seem to have the same interest though apart from digs about the England result.

With regard to Stadia the RFL should use the carrot of the World Cup along with thestick of the franchises to encourage Salford, Cas , Wakey, Saints ands Celtic to get their plans in place and Leeds to improve their stadia.
Perpignan should also get matches.

Finally they should try and get a terrestrial deal and play the tournament in the summer when their is less competition for audiences and the weather (hopefully) is better.

This has to be done properly this time after the debacle that was 2000. Last years was a really big success (England's quite frankly pathetic performance aside that is!) but Australia has the advantage of RL being a massive sport over here.

I would like to see a packed out Wembley or or Olympic Stadium for the opener and final.

England have to perform though! and to some extent Id like to see the French give it a real go. Personally I would like to see a break in the summer for the tournament, but that isn't going to happen.

It also has to have the majority of games on terrestrial TV IMO.

I see that Elland Road has been included for the RUWC along with Kingsholm (Projected 18,000 Capacity). I hope that someone in HQ is looking at lobbying the RFL and the RFU to include Headingley as a potential ground, it may also get lottery/other funding towards redevelopment if it was on the RL & RU shortlist. As the home of a topflight team in both games it may be in a position to muscle in if it can prove that it could have the right facilities.

I dont see why, RL has been played at Twickers in the same year as RU nevermind a different year, not to mention Leeds and Quins.

HQ Needs to be seriously redeveloped with many different facilities for 2012.
Personally I have always supported the 'Rent food stall' system that they have in Australia where we would have spaces built into the stadium for company's like Subway, Greggs, Burger King ect.. to Rent... that way you have huge competition and cheep prices, more options... ect....

This should be proposed for the future Developments of the ground!
