Got fed up of Leeds after the Histon game. They have arguably the best team in this league and only a few come close (I think only Leicester could be argued to have a better squad) yet on the occasions I have seen them and the other times I have read about them, they just seem to underperform most of the time. They are losing to teams like Rotherham and Histon ffs. nevermind the likes of Colchester at home. Looking at the MK Dons team today, they shouldnt even touch Leeds.
For me, Gary has to go. We need a manager who not only has experience in these leagues, but has experience of getting promoted. Some might say this sounds silly but I think that Peter Taylor would be a very good appointment. Gillingham, Brighton and 2 promotions with Hull, plus look what he is doing with Wycombe now. For me it would be the perfect appointment

Heard Gus Poyet was at the game today.

He was there as guest of di-matteo and ken bates was there aswell so the rumour mill will be in overdrive!!

Another good day out spoilt by 90 minutes of inept clueless football. Lucas should never play for Leeds again, granted he's not solely the reason we are getting turned over each week but IMO a goalkeeper should command his penalty area and have the total confidence of his defenders - he fails woefully on both counts. Team selection again was the key, Michalik was garbage and the new lad doesn't look a natural RB - they looked far more comfortable when Richardson came on at HT and he went into CB along with Marques. Sheehan had a shocker, what has Parker done wrong ?

All 3 goals were gimmes. The 1st was a near post flick on by their central defender who headed the ball a foot of the ground - no one on the near post FFS, the 2nd was probably the most embarrassing example of goalkeeping & defending ever seen at a football game, wouldn't have looked out of place in one of those old Benny Hill clips speeded up in the park.

I don't know where Gary Mac goes from here, but if he was to be sacked........who would take over in the meantime ?? Who would be the most popular choice...........Ince, Keane..might go down well with your daughter G

Just said on goals on sunday Macca's been sacked.

I expected him to get til the end of the season but we couldnt go on as we have done.

I must admit i was delighted when he was appointed and some of the football we've played whilst he's been here was great to watch.
Like many have pointed out though results matter not performances and our defence has been like traffic cones for the last 6 weeks so i guess it was inevitable so who do we think/want to get the job????
I'd like billy davies but i wouldn't be surprised to see poyet there.

We want to be playing this kind of football in the premiership. But for now we just need players who can get us back they and we do have them. At the end of the day if we wanted to see nice football we would all pop down to Garthford (please correct me) or whatever that silly place is called when some Brazilian OAP is playing for them.

The defensive players have as much to blame, but we can not do another year in Div 3, if we don't get out now, we may never do it. Such a great club playing the likes of Yeovil, cheltenham is hard to take.
