Dunno - my late grandfather always wore a fat cap whenever he left the house and as Mc_F mentioned earlier – a suit when he was out or trousers and a cardy when in the house.

If you look carefully they are mostly Trillbies or Homburgs ..the flat cap is a bit of a myth.

Just listened to that on a well-known website of video clips ... and, come to think of it, it might well have been that version, it would fit about the right time.
I didn't know that ELP had done that so I may well have assumed at the time that it was B Bumble.

The B Bumble & The Stingers was also re-released at around the same time, I'm not sure if the ELP one was ever a single (wasn't it off the Pictures At An Exhibition album ? Pile of pretentious cr@p)

Randomly I played football there when i was about 18 or so, not against High Royds you understand - but lots of patients were watching, or wandering across the pitch, it was all abit surreal and random

High Royds was along those lines in its latter years i think - wasn't a secure place.

Inthe 70s you went to High Royds for common place illnesses like Alzheimers

go back a bit further and you went there if you had a child out of 'wedlock'
