Neither can I....if we couldn't afford to keep a striker already on our books I can't see us paying top dollar on a transfer fee & big wages for the likes of Chopra.

I can't see too much truth in Chopra tbh. We would be looking at a transfer fee of probably 2M+ and wages over 10K a week. I can't see us spending that amount of money.

Decent performance against a strong Wolves team. Of all the new players, Sam stood out as impressive as Bessone stood out as garbage........another Tony Capaldi left back by the looks of it. Even though we've bagged 11 goals in our last 3 pre-season games I would still like to see us recruit a proven goalscorer as I have a feeling goals will be hard to come by once the league campaign kicks off.

I think thats about right, but in that league there is little difference in terms of 8th from top & 8th from bottom. Certainly last season teams were pushing for the play-offs one week, then 2 losses later looking over their shoulder.

6th from bottom could easily turn into a 10th on the bounce of a ball or dodgy decision in a couple of games, its that tight

Yeah agreed, it could be a very hard season for Leeds. i think we'll fair a bit better than 6th bottom though, i fancy mid table as long as we bring in a couple more players of quality before the window shuts.
