As i keep saying he is overweight blah blah blah but it doesnt affect he's fitness, you might see him blowing but he carries on with no performance loss. He is a great runner with the ball, great strength amazing offloading skills and puts some cracking shots in.'"
I agree - he can only get better - one of our best players last night (along with Delaney) - even if Ali decides to leave at the end of this year - Eastwood is a great replacement

Ellis is a "Freak" player who can put so much effort in for the full 80 minutes, I wasn't comparing how long they can both stay on the field but the effect they have when they are on it, Eastwood is no doubt a very good impact player yes but i don't see him as a similar style player to Ali but which Ali style are we talking about the current day one or the one who first arrived?.

| Thought he was a waste of money until last night when he was one of, if not the best player on the park.
Where the feck did he get his energy from? He must hate the storm players or something./
If you can get him that fired up for every game like that, he will be the forward of the season!!

Spot on really. Due to the pitches and form of team mates so far, we have seen no where near the best yet of both players.

Crabtree doesn't have the pace or ball skills of Ali or beastwood. Crabtree is a is a battering ram. He also has a nice off load.
To add I think the poster was making the point we have both those options not just 1 player.

Tbf mate like Wilko has said it's more of as a duo plus big Earl is a prop and our 2 are predominently back-rowers.

I'd disagree with that personally mate. Not many people have the ball skills of Crabtree who can offload from unbelievable positions like Solomona. Also remember chasing Sean Long down over a 50 yard sprint a few years back, in top gear Crabtree can motor, it's just off a standing start he's not too quick. Personally think Ali's seen his best days but I like the look of Eastwood even if he does look a bit tubby.

Ali has started the season slowly like the majority of our squad mate but there's no doubt he'll start to show his real quality sooner rather than later so talk of his demise is at best premature.
P.s Fwiw Ali is more consistent and also better at offloading than Solomona ever has been imo.

A bit late and i'm not sure if this has been mentioned in another thread. About 67mins he was on the field against Quins and had a cracking game. Even got off a cheeky little kick .

He may, he may not. But some of us are prepared to give him a reasonable amount of time to do it.
If anything, the fact he's joined us this year makes more sense than him joining us last year with the way the squad may look in 18 months time.

NRLNEWS RickyRicardo: Rumour has it that Greg Eastwood wants back in the NRL at the Dogs, and that Leeds will let him leave a year early.
Any truth in this? Hope not, excellent player would be a big loss!

| To play the first 65 mins 5 days after a very tough game against Melbourne shows the fitness of the guy. It not as if we picked up injuries during the game and he was forced to play 65 mins, it was just natural otherwise there would have been no need for him out there for that long.

Just because Buderus is ssid to be unhappy the rumour mill has started that the other high profile overseas recruits are also unhappy. Was bound to happen. Load of balls imo.

He's signing for Warrington in a transfer coup including Sinfield, Mcquire, Burrow, Peacock and Webb.
We are getting that drum they bang all the time.
