You've just continued to embarrass yourself by again trying to put sexuality/race/gender on a par with a month of the year in how people view and treat them. Can't recall ever seeing a July Pride March.'"
What has Pride got to do with anything?
I haven't put them on par at all. I haven't commented on the relative importance of any of them. Why are you now bringing race and gender in to it? I haven't mentioned race or gender, according to you when people bring in other examples it is because they cant make the opposite argument.
What I have done is shown you that there is clear and obvious discrimination by elite sport against those born in the summer months. I have shown you examples of where positive action to address this in our own sport has been suggested by a respected figure within our game.
I have in fact proven the things you have relied on hearsay for. I have in fact met a far higher standard of evidence than you have.
At this point, your logic states that it is now up to you to prove my claim false, or accept it is true.

You have though. You've continuously said on the thread that it is JUST AS LIKELY to be one of these "million other reasons" than it being because of homosexuality. That's putting them on a par, when realistically anybody who doesn't live with their head in the clouds but rather the real world knows those reasons are nowhere near as likely.

You are far more likely to win a game of heads or tails than you are the lottery. Only a real moron would confuse likelihood and importance.
Besides your own preconceptions and prejudice, Where is your evidence that things aren't as likely?
I see you have chosen to only respond to one line in isolation as well, makes this statement look a little silly doesn't it Quote ="ThePrinter"No I answered everything you wrote, because that's what I do, I actually read what other people write and respond to what they wrote.
I'm not like yourself or others who use little rants like this to disguise the fact that you won't/can't reply to what I wrote.

| Still guessing in tonight's game
It's a shame he was promoted above those in his peer group who were rated higher, who knows if they would have continued to progress at higher levels but there dos seem to be a bit of a problem with selection being based on personalties rather than pure performance. I've seen refs get called up into the lower leagues based on injury or fitness test issues and get good reviews from the clubs, even to the point where the clubs are requesting the ref gets more games, but then when injuries and fitness are not a problem the same faces get their jobs back. When we have so little in terms of numbers it's sad to see things that can put off even the most enthusiastic.
I think there is a problem with a clique of referees forming, not helped that there are limited number of pro refs and they are always going to be those who don't have a better career elsewhere already, and with the increasing number of those getting moved upstairs into other roles there is too much emphasis on covering each others backs and pretending problems don't exist. Goo refs can emerge despite this system but I think more would do so with a better one. "Outside" management should be prioritised.

| He is having a fantastic game compared to the video referee.
and bar that 'loose carry' I don't think he has got a lot wrong.

| Well as a neutral I think he's had a good game and some of the abuse aimed at him reflects more on those offering it than it does on him.

| I was ashamed to be a Rhinos fan tonight, the abuse the guy got was unacceptable, he had a very good game. if only our players made the same number of mistakes he did. It was embarrassing and it has to stop get behind the team and stop obsessing over the ref.

| You could tell on the TV that in the ground Child was getting the blame.
Child in noway can be blamed for that result!
As has been pointed out, he didn't miss all the tackles, he didn't drop all that ball on the Cas line and coming out of traffic.
Despite all that we still had enough ball in good attacking positions to win that and we couldn't get it done.

Maybe so but Cas were f*cking horrible too. That tells you how bad Leeds were and we had plenty of ball to win that. If Leeds had won I would still be unhappy. Unlike you Cas fans who can enjoy it as you have nothing to play for appart from pride and fun.

| Child didn't miss much tonight. The abuse he received was shocking, even those in the hospitality were way out of order.
Cas deserved the victory, the result had nothing to do with the referee whatsoever.

| Child wasn't good tonight, as usual. He allows offsides and holding down/interference for long periods and then will randomly ping one that hasn't been anywhere near as bad as what he's previously allowed. He also runs a very short 10m that is sometimes only 7 or 8.
I'd be interested to see if James Child officiated games have a higher player error rate in terms of knock-ons/loose passes etc than others because his reffing style lends itself to defences up quickly on the attack.
You're lucky there were 2 attack-minded teams out there tonight. I'd dread to think of the spectacle of a Wigan v Huddersfield game officiated by him.

I agree child was horrible he gave Cas 3 or 4 sets in a row to get the game going and they went infront. Then didn't police The next period the same.
But we can forget all that. We were 16 - 12 up despite him and a shocking start from Leeds. To not make hay against a team that can't defend with our strike is simply shocking from us.

I actually thought we were much better with the ball this week than the previous 2. I think Lilley is doing very well at hooker and has freed the team up a bit. It's still not back where it was but we looked to be getting the ball wide again which is pleasing to see. Unfortunately losing Sinfield was crucial tonight, partly because we lost his game at stand off which I think would've helped hugely when we were on their line, and secondly it meant we had to move Moon to stand off, so we lost Moon's strike at centre.
Then add in that Watkins didn't seem fully fit (he seemed reticent to really run it or really step) it meant we only really looked like making a break from Cuthbertson. Though that's also partly due to Cas' excellent defence.
I was more concerned by our defence than our attack really. I'm starting to think is our pack too big now? We had 5 props in that team tonight and 4 of them in Cuthbertson, Leuluai, Peacock & Garbutt are very big fellas who aren't the most mobile in defence. Possibly where we're missing JJB?
