If you were to find yourself in Hell the only shop there is a branch of IKEA and all it sells are Pot Noodles and celery FACT.

Pop Tarts, wow I remember dose B-Boys. Pot Noodles are perfect easy 'food' man, Greggs was open last night did you go? I did. Ram raided it me. 3 Frenchbread pizzas and a tuna sarnie. Boom. I always eat with my eyes close when I'm wasted. I'm always like 'Mmmmmm...this is nice, this is really nice, i love this food'. To myself. Then get a kebab at the bottom takeaway, cover it in mayo and do the same in the taxi home.

Me too, the salad is quite nice. Have to be onion, carrot, tomato and abit of lettuce for me. Dont know what makes it nice though.

To people who worked in Merrion House, the Poly & Civic Hall in the 80s & before it will always be the Coburg (or possibly the Cobourg).

Ahh that will be why then I think he used to work/visit merrion house for the council.

Wasnt where the fab cafe is now called the pig and whistle? I remember him telling me a few stories about being in there with other council employees on a Friday afternoon.

Indeed it was called the Pig & Whistle, the only Cameron's pub that I recall in Leeds.
One of the few pubs where you could still get real ale in the barren years of the 70s pre-CAMRA.
The accountants (Finace Dept) went to the Cobourg, people who worked in the Education Dept or Architects went to the P&W.
