Yes, but it still isn't value for money.
I'll get season tickets for next year. It's something me and my lad do together and it's something we enjoy.
Of course, other people invest far too much energy and emotion into the results but I guess that they have a less balanced life. Would I like us to win? Yes. Will I refuse to renew if we don't? No.
I've had season tickets through much, much worse season's than this. Then again, I suspect many who will refuse to renew haven't. I guess they're like the bulls fans that arrived at Odsal when success did and then disappeared when the success dried up. We used to deride them on here.
I like watching rugby league. I have a strong affinity with Leeds, very strong, so Headingley is the best place for me to watch it.

| Quote ="McLaren_Field"And there in bold is the urban myth that all sporting clubs rely on - the fact that a certain number of supporters will continue to put money in the bank account regardless of how they perform or indeed how they treat you on a matchday, how bad the facilities are, how poor the beer is, how shabby the goods are in the club shop (transfers that drop off when they even look at a washing machine) - doesn't matter what they do to you, you will still keep coming back and giving them your money.
Truth is, and one day you will come to realise it, you CAN change the team you support, its easy.'"
OTOH, one could support and enjoy the game itself rather than select one particular team.
I don't believe it's compulsory to be a one-club supporter.

Could you be a one club supporter if it was a grass roots club like, say, Shaw Cross?

Nope.
Nor would I shop at one supermarket chain and purchase 11 identical items there just so that I could get 2 more free.

I simply HAVE to watch Buderus. Don't you know it's worth the money alone to see him play? This year is better than any of the title winning season's of 2004,2007, 2008 and 2009 thanks to the privilege of watching an Australia, Newcastle and NSW legend end his career and top up his pension with some pretty OK performances in a Leeds shirt.
I didn't watch Kirke friday. I blinked and missed him.

| I was asked what the game was like Friday night, and I replied 'Just like the good old days of Dougie Laughton'
My lad wants a season ticket, which means I have to get one, and that means spending money, which I'm allergic to.
Still, if Leeds continue to decline, there will be more room to move around to better seats

| It has been quite a while since I held a season ticket for Bramley . I might get one next season . And there is always my now local team Farnley Falcons to watch which is free . I can't imagine that the stewarding at HQ will improve , so am looking at options .
One option is to just tour all the away grounds as a neutral . I will not be 'doing a Gledhill' and wearing my team's colours though
Yes I will attend HQ for games such as Bulls and Cas (and Wakey if they survive), but away games at non-football grounds is the way forward for me as a RL fan watching live SL I think .
The sad thing is . I ain't the only one thinking the same . I know quite a few people that are looking at other options .

| Think the idea of touring and picking matches is the best. Picking up the deals offered will also be attractive - the one for the wembley double header on 5th November is £10 to sit in decent seats behind the posts. Take advantage before the 22nd of July

| With the possibility of returning challenge cup final tickets to Wigan this becomes an ever increasing issue. Been hard work supporting this season but we have managed to keep going so far. Another day at Wembley like last year could be the killer blow!

It could to the season ticket sales, that's for sure.
If we turn up, I don't think it will matter even if we lose.
But if it's a carbon copy of last year I would expect that to make a few people's minds up r.e. whether to renew or not.
Just while we're on ST for '12.... What's likely to be happening with the South Stand? Are we all (and by "all" I mean, "those of us that are left"icon_wink.gif expected to just stand/sit elsewhere?
What is everyone else doing? I hate being behind the sticks, but the thought of the North Stand sends a shiver down my spine.

Would they allow that?! That would be interesting! With modern day builders we could end up with 13 straight home matches at the end of the season!

After yesterday v Quinns can we play the last 13 away as well as this would solve next years season ticket dilema! Down to London again next week for the final without a clue why I am making such stupid use of both money and time. This morning its yet again but will undoubtedly set of early next Saturday morning with a or two.
Suspect the only way forward is to trust in Sinny and JP and ignore the coaching system that excelled in terms of tactical build up for a final yesterday.
