Looks like I've managed to get to a couple of Leeds fans here

. Cokey is currently enjoying the Leopards so far this season, and no doubt the Leopards will be in SL next season, also 'albeit' stronger also. Looks i'll be around for quite some time yet.

As much as I don`t like your Chairman I have to say that characters like him are hard to find these days and he is certainly putting his money where his mouth is.

Is it me or does Newman look a bit smaller this season?

He hasn't had as much impact as I was expecting since returning, however, it is just good to see him playing at the moment and I am sure in time, his performance will raise to the next level after barely playing for the last couple of seasons.

I wouldn't be surprised if his last couple of injuries have meant he's had to alter his running technique a bit. Tom Turbo and Trell Mitchell have had to do something similar in recent years and it took time for them to get back to their best.

Plus, Newman hasn't exactly had much quality ball on a dry pitch, so it's exactly going to showcase his talent. We could also still be limiting his workload to ease him back in, which is wise if it reduces his risk of injury in the future

I don't think he's lost any speed. Certainly got round the Hudds defence the other week. Just glad that he appears to be putting a run of games together.

I think Newman used to do everything at 100 mph, which could be why he’s picked up injured he looks to be easing his way back in and picking his moments better.

We won’t see the best of Newman until we get some better weather IMO

His strength doesn't come from his size, its from his speed and determination in contact. He's one of those players who runs the ball with more force than someone much bigger. Very similar to Staggs at the Broncos in terms of size, and he breaks tackles the same way.

Big opportunity for Tindall. For a winger he needs to get over the line a few times if he's going to make it. How many first team tries has he scored for Leeds?

Yep. One try in 18 appearances all up, zero from 13 last year. He's played in some poor teams but even so that's a strike rate that suggests something's not quite there. He played a few games on the left when Handley was out last season and didn't get a try, although playing on the right side last year was a mare, as we only got 6 tries from the right wing all year (one for Briscoe and 5 for Fusitu'a).

Think we'll see a continuation of martin at centre and nene on the wing with Bentley getting another shot.

It is so quite on here! There is a massive element of nervousness before every game with this unpredictable team

I hope Tindall gets a chance, even if we have the cover via SR coming on to move Martin to Centre and Nene to wing if needed.

We need to see what he can do in a team that's doing ok

Give Sangare and McDonnell a break and if Sezer isn`t right maybe play Gannon in the halves.

He might get another run off the bench as per last week.

Gannons not in the 21 and with so many weeks out bringing him back in the halves wouldn't be a good idea. Think we'll see Sinfield there before we do Gannon.

Gannon will be back for Salford, RS confirmed.

I don't think resting form players is a good idea Macdonall and Holroyd are our best two forwards currently,I'd also like to see Johnson get more game time to build confidence Tindall equally.

It’ll be a tough game this one. If we’re not on it we will get beat. Hardaker will be pumped for it
