Films get dated. Have you seen Jaws recently? So bad. Same goes for The Exorcist. That is a bad film, so bad.

Utter nonsense!

It's a first rate thriller with top notch performances all round. The scene of the three men drunkenly talking on the boat is superbly done.

Yeah I was on about the shark. Sock puppet. The film scares me too much. Don't go in the sea me.

Con Air wasn't a bad re-hash of Die Hard.

watched the reader last night. absolute garbage.

Got Slumdog Millionaire earlier I'll watch it tomorrow when I'm tragically snowed in.

I actually watched that for the first time at the weekend. Thought it would be better than what it was as it usually gets really high on all those countdown things you see on channel 4 but didn't think that much to it. Thought it was good special effects though to say its a 70's film

That Quarantine was a dire remake of Rec. Why are the American remakes never better than the Spanish/Japanese films?? Same goes for The Grudge and The Ring and there gonna do an American remake of The Orphanage

Worst films I've seen are from the guy who directed Signs, The Village, Unbreakable etc

The Orphanage is a masterpiece. But the Yanks aren't getting any credit for it so of course they have to remake it and call it thier own.

Rancid Aluminium. Had a great British cast but the film was absoulte cack. Rhys Ifans, Joseph Fiennes, Tara Fitzgerald, Sadie Frost, Steven Berkoff, Keith Allen. Remember laughing out loud in the cinema at what were supposed to be serious scenes as they were so bad.

Huh, your joking right? The original was far better, the remake was a typical hollywood effort. What was the point of the love story with Julia Roberts and why did they get away with it at the end? The original ending was far better.

The original [icould[/i have been better, but Sinatra's insistence on partying till the early hours and refusing to take direction lead to a poorly made film.

I thought Oceans 11 (the remake) was quite good.

Never seen the sequels though!

Have to agree to disagree. I thought Sinatras attitude helped to give it that cool 60's feel in the same way that Michael Caine did in his films, even though I don't think either of them are particularly good actors or Caine wasn't at the time. It still really annoys me that they changed the ending, didn't see the need for it.

Probably so they could make millions on the sequels!

I agree he gave it 60's cool, but it's still a poor film, in my opinion.

I suppose we'll have to agree to differ unless we can decide on a definition for what is a 'good' film.

I haven't seen the 50s B one but I thought the Tommy Cruise one was alright. Even bought it on doovde.
