Liked the little fishing village just along from there too.

Loved Assos. Nice tavernas, great view as you drive down to it and swimming in the little harbour/bay was lovely. Liked Fiskardo too, but Scala was just a nice place to potter round in the afternoon or on an evening. Make sure you take Danny to the crazy golf place near the beach.

We were there for 2 weeks but still felt there was alot more we could have done - didn't get to Mellisani for a start, nor much of the peninsula where Xi beach was, even the forest and mountains in the middle of the island would be nice to walk in.

We have been three times and still haven't done the xi peninsula. In fact the only time we have been anywhere near it was with Captain Makis, (I think). Fiskardo is overrated. Assos I agree is beautiful. I also love Agia Efimia.
Mellissani is amazing. We still visit every year.

We went there years ago with our kid & his missus, 1st time we'd been on an all inclusive. Me & our kid made right pigs of ourselves on the free lager, hammered it for the 1st 3 days. On the 4th day, I was really badly ligged in bed but bored, so i put my yellow LUFC shorts on and went to the bookshop in the reception. As I was paying I thought i'd just ease one out..........big mistake, it wasn't a trump....I had to run all the way back to our room with my hand at the back of my shorts trying to cover up the mess...

Been in Cornwall on hols for the last 2 and bit weeks. Weather was fantastic, no PC, no mobile phone.

Get back just in time to see the boys snatch defeat from the jaws of victory from the jaws of defeat...etc. Looks like a all that "turning negatives into positives" we have been doing since getting dumped out of the CC has really paid dividends. Still a long way to go yet I suppose.
