Pity they wasted so much time trying to turn him into a 9 when his huge potential was at 6.
Another to file under "grass wasnt greener at W@#ky" with Learmonth & Brooke Broughton.'"
Plenty of envelopes from his "petrol monies" he can sell on if he needs a bob or two though.
Continues the great tradition of Warrington pilfering other teams youth players and completely ruining them.

Didn't it say he has an offer from two Super League clubs? can that really be defined as ruining?

Look at the clubs that are offering - he was supposed the next great thing in the northern hemisphere - either he wasn't really that good or Warrington have completely trashed his talent.

He was a brilliant prospect. But he could have stayed at Leeds and would probably have been worse off still under McDermott, as our history shows. So I am not sure we are in a position to say ruined. When/If he fails at the two clubs proposed, then might be a better time to say ruined.

He's a fantastic prospect. I've championed him on here many times. I always want young props holding back. There is no rush. Stuart Fielden was playing prop at that age but was finished at 27 we don't want that. Prop is a hard position for someone so young nowadays.
Tommy is great, he's going to be a tremendous player for us but for me he isn't ready to playing against men week in week out.'"
Completely agree with this. He is still 17 at present, has had 1 year playing u19's and yet to train as a full time pro. Big talent but I'd rather he got brought through 6 months after he is ready rather than the other way round. He will be dominant in u19's but is still a kid.

| Quote ="The Biffs Back"A fantastic victory last night by the England boys and thoroughly deserved too
AS has already been mentioned, there is a very talented group of young players coming through and not only at the Rhinos but also at all of the other clubs too which bodes well for our game.
IMO England's defence won the game and our pack were far better than the Aussie forwards,They never really looked capable of breaking us down.
Tom Holroyd was my stand out player.
If I was looking to bring in junior talent into the Rhinos then I would be very interested in Oliver Wilson (Bulls) and Sam Walters (Widnes) especially with them both not being already at clubs in SL'"
It's a horrible situation for Widnes to be in ATM and I hope that they can find a way out of the mess they are in.
IMO Sam Walters is the only player I would be willing to make a move for if the vultures come circling and bills need paying at the club,he's a fantastic junior prospect

| A young 19s team losing 24-10 at HT v City of Academy who have a much older team starting and raced into a 24-0 lead.
Harry Gregoriou looks to have sustained a knee injury unfortunately.

| Holroyd did full 80. Dupree and Trout made an impact but other than those it was a young team but they stuck at it and if young Joe Burton hadn't dropped it going over at the death team might have snatched a draw. Lost 34-28 in end. Only a friendly tho. 1st game on Thursday at home to Wakey.
The right winger scored 2 beauties today Leeds.

| Difficult cos I didn't have a team sheet but I believe Delaney was 11 and scored the 1st try, the right winger Tindall got 3 including a 90 yarder, Tyler Dupree from a lovely set play using Holroyd as a decoy. Markland on left wing and I'm missing one I can't remember. It's was a young team missing several who will be playing Thursday. Team was mainly last year's 16s to give then a run out.
Funnily enough Leeds Utd under 18s was playing Hull on the pitch near the changing rooms at Bishop Burton and won 1-0 I believe.

Brilliant, cheers. Tindalls the best wing talent we'v had in years imo, big powerful lad with great movement skills, good to see him doing well. Looking at the Hull try scorers, it looks like they had all there big guns playing so this was a very impressive result for a team with 9 first years in the squad. Exciting times.

Yes I've liked what I've seen of Tindall so far. Lewis Delaney has also impressed me.
It's looking very positive, I think in a few years we'll have some established first graders from recent Academy intakes, sprinkled with some Marquee magic and that's your winning formula.

Couldnt agree more, looks like the club agree now too which is good to see, no need to waste cap and squad places on your walters, ormndroyds and mullallys when theres talent coming through like we have. Its win win...the youngsters get a clear path way to the first team and we free up cap to bring real quality in.
Im also a big fan of delaney, think out pack at 19s this season will be fantastic, we probably wont play our strongest pack all throughout the season but if and when we do it could be frightening

Where do you reckon Muizz will end up, position-wise?
Can’t decide whether he’s a direct second rower or a potential Barrie McDermott physique prop. He’s a bit short but he runs so hard. Would need to fill out a lot (and probably lose pace) for prop.

Not sure, probably depends on the coach, as a regular starter and the way the games gone id say 13 would probably his most natural fit, it would be hard for teams to handle him steaming in off the back of 2 bigger props, he's mobile and he's a quality defender. But if a coach is after a ballplayer at 13 then i see him as an impact bench player. Be interesting to see how he develops, iv seen a couple of interviews where he mentions putting on size.
