They way we are defending and the form of the other teams around us i think not.

From what people have said about him complaining to the ref, I don't think he should, but again, the "Respect" rules state it should be a booking.

Its a wee bit harder to defend a set piece when your centre half is told to stand on the sideline while its taken.

From what i can gather tad there wasn't hardly any blood if any at all on his shirt that's where the furore came from and gary mc was trying to show it to the 4th official which led to the goal and prutton having a go.
I'm all for the respect campaign but it's got to be a 2 way process imo.
If prutton was being abusive no probs book him but protesting what he and the manager saw as a poor decision i haven't got a problem with especially as we see the so called super-stars do it and get away with it and worse week in week out.

I thought he did ok at cov in very difficult circumstances with zero money and a makeshift squad.
They always played decent football and were difficult to play against imo.

the same mistakes have happened since the first week of the season. centre of defence is a shambles and is the real weakness yet he does nothing about it. the players can't get used to each other as the side is constantly chopped and changed.
it's easy to blame the referee, he is the soft target. marques is off,rightly or wrongly, and yet again we concede a goal from a corner. we concede from corners most weeks. is it the refs fault every week.

I can't understand why players/managers moan? How many times have you seen a ref say "Actually your right" and go back and change it? Not very often.
