The first 20 minutes of the Sky game last night illustrated exactly what Leeds problems are. With Gidley and Sandow Warrington had a balanced pair of halves who linked with each other and connected forwards and backs superbly. Sandow also looked very dangerous running. By the time Sandow did his hammy Warrington had won that game.
Chris Hill was magnificent as well and reminded me of what Kylie used to bring, he won every collision and landed on his knees and elbows so no amount of t@tting around by the goons at the tackle could stop a quick PTB.

I'm not a believer in simple fixes for complex problems but if you stuck Warringtons starting halves in our team we would not be worried about anything.

1. JJB comes out of the line leaves a huge gap Lunt trots over
2. Greenwood runs through a pathetic attempt from Mullally to get within 2 yards of the line Lunt a simple play
3. Burrow completely misses a kick two passes later its with Dixon who runs past both Hardaker and Watkins who if they had been more alert might have stopped him.
4. Yet another poor attempt at a tackle from Singleton leaves a huge gap and Cockayne simple - made even more simple by Hardaker's abject attempt at anything
5. Ablett again misses a simple tackle and a year ago Hardaker would have stopped it not this year
6. Mulhern runs past an exhausted Cuthbertson - Hardaker is once again nowhere other than shouting at Cuthbertson - nice!!

These are mistakes being made by experienced players not rookies - these structures should be set in stone no matter who plays. These guys have been playing together long enough that it should just almost muscle memory.

There was an alarming lack of desire last night. I rarely saw Leeds players bending their backs. Too much grabbing around the shoulders.

Well were certainly the more enthusiastic side, by some distance.

Wigan had pretty much zero skill last night, were missing several key players but we're in the game because they were still putting four men in the tackle in the 75th minute and their line speed never dropped.
There's a lesson there. If it's not clicking with the ball up the work rate without it and you'll always have a chance.

And that is what happens when the assistant left to do preseason whilst the coach peed about isn't the USA, is a conditioner who didn't play the game at a level. Not that the coach has skills either like. But of course we don't need assistants.

I have never suggested sacking Mcd, only a select few have,and why other fans think we should be sitting quiet and not discussing and alarming drop off this season and back to back home defeats to lower teams we should be beating comfortably is more baffling. Davidson took preseason whilst the coach was peeing about thousands of miles away. The club told you we had assistants, you wouldn't know one if they smacked you in the face. If you did you would cotton on to reality.

So Eaton and Plume do nothing? Just because you act the "in the loop" on the internet doesn't actually mean you know as much as you like to pretend.

You can question McDermott's absence in terms of performance and tactics if you want. To link him beng in America for 2 weeks somehow being the reason behind fitness is stupid. The reason why they look more unfit is because quite a few have been unable to train and also because we are coughing up more ball and making ourselves do more defensive work compared to 12 months ago when we strolling to victories.

The point on the coaching was too much time in the gym. Which is exactly what Davidson and Kirke forte is.

If you have employed specialist conditioners you leave them to get on with it.

Plume is both first team and academy. Don't have the mistaken believe that just because you have looser lips than others that you know more, some of us just don't run and tell each and everything they know.

Your knowledge is the extent of club publications, or whether it is mentioned on the radio. If not mentioned, if doesn't happen, or the player had a poor game.
