I'd agree. I thought the high tackle in the 1st half was poor, very mis-timed.

I've seen a lot worse. He has been letting his emotions get the better of him again in the early part of this season. Hopefully if any good comes from it it will be to calm him down again.

Bailey has a early guilty plea for the grade C offense, not sure how many games that would get him. Interesting to see that Elliot Whitehead has got away with a caution for his spear tackle

Which is probably fair enough given no previous. Over-enthusiastic rather than malicious. Dangerous though and I'd think they may be less lenient if he does it again.

It's a formal caution that will now appear on the player's record and could be taken into account at any future hearings for similar offences. Hopefully it will be a case of lesson heeded, technique worked upon and improved without the need for further punishment down the track.

Leeds players have themselves in the past been dealt with in this way and supporters I imagine found it an acceptable way to deal with the issue at the time.

For what it's worth I personally think the whitehead tackle has been blown out of proportion. He pulled out of the tackle when he realised the legs had gone up. Caution about right in my opinion

Dearo me L'oreal. You're getting right heated up mi old china. It's pretty simple.....Whitehead let him go rather than spear tackle JJB...clumsy careless tackle nothing more. Bailey assaults people around the head twice and laughs his ass off the field. Taking the p**s out of his own teammates. What a legend! The first tackle has been graded worse than the second....he should have gone in minute 5.

You get away with Bailey being a passenger, because the rest of your team are superb!

On the positive, your team were excellent in the last 20 mins and fully deserved to ride home.

What length of ban do you think HADPATBHG will get? I think the RFL will say that the red card was sufficient and give him a game ban for the first incident.

Clearly the panel see more in Bailey`s 2nd offence than most of us on here.
Will probably cop a total of 3 games.

It's looking like that if it was also Whitehead that put the shoulder charge into one of the Salford players (seemingly without even a penalty) on the brief highlights shown on the BBC SL Show last night. Nice work.

We appear to be seeing a slight reduction in the use of the SC but happily it's still in there. There was a good one from Josh Hodgson on Adam Milner and another from Corey Paterson on Weller Hauraki both in the recent Hull KR V Castleford game. No official even batted an eyelid and the second one had even gone to the video referee IIRC. The joke that is the RFL disciplinary panel looked at a penalised shoulder charge from Hauraki on Burns while completely ignoring the two other incidents that went unpunished from earlier in the same match.

Talk about a lack of consistency, incompetence or simply turning a blind eye - delete as appropriate.

Well this is the RL Disciplinery Committee, it's always been like this for as long as I remember.
