If that's the case I presume you thought Tango & Cash was the greatest film of the 80's, followed by Daylight as best film of the 90's.

I watched it when I was about 10. Thought it was good. If I saw it now though I'd probably hate it. I've never seen Tango and Cash!

I don't know much about film history, but could you class that as one of the first comedy spoofs about film genre's??? Compared to more modern films like Scream or Shaun Of The Dead. As it is a take on popular film and actions. Or maybe I'm well out!!!! |

'Last Action Hero' is 50% the most disappointing film for me. When they are inside the film and taking the mickey out of the genre it's good stuff, but then when they come out into the 'real world' and it turns into another 'Arnie babysits an annoying brat' movie it becomes incredibly rubbish.

I'll agree with that. When they are inside the film I think its great and Arnie does a really good job of taking the mick out of himself but it does go down hill nearer the end
