To be fair that occured in his first season with us and you he shouldn't have played. Spent most of that season barely walking let alone having guts to man-up and play rugby.

McKenna was one of my favourite tacklers to watch in blue and amber. Copy book. Always knew the right tackle to put in each situation. Every time he got the chance to put shoulder in he did it. There has been and will be more applauded imports but he was in' good at what he did.

Fair play to Bailey, though he really picked up his form last year.

Turned into a useful player, when is his contract up?

Bailey usually hits a run of form every season, I think last year's was particulalry usefully timed so caught the eye of more opposition fans.

I think he's OOC at the end of this season but will no doubt be set on earning another as I think he's a testimonial due should he do so.

Bailey signed a lifetime contract when he first joined the club.

This was not announced due to a PR oversight, as the club was busy handling other contract announcements at the time.

Ryan looks forward to several more decades at Headingley.
