| I've just cleaned myself up.
It took a while.....
Try of the game....try of the season....
The difference maker between the teams last night.
From the kick return rather than just a straight drive up, went on the angle looked for the weak defence and showed a great line break, strength in bumping off and fend, speed and the brains to use the support on his shoulder.
We needed a game changer, we got the TMFMISL. BOOOOOM.

| Interesting how when Bailey drops down heavily on top of a little winger we see numerous threads by opposition fans many pages long critcising him saying he's absolute garage as a RL player, yet when he comes up with a great 50m run swatting away several tackles before offloading for the try which really decided the game we have nothing.
Just watched the replay, i almost feel sorry for Henderson.......almost.

| Who will ever be able to forget Henderson's first attempted tackle in a Bradford - Leeds derby game at Odsal. He almost literally shat himself as he turned his back on whoever it was carting the ball up. Comedy gold it was.

Best piece of Rugby I've ever seen from Bailey and he capped it off by the comedy run to the side.
He really is great entertainment.
Even funnier when TMFMISL was owned by geriatric Steve Menzies in a scuffle late on.

| Excellent run and offload from RB showing some pace and awareness. I have always believed Bailey was a better 2nd row than a prop and where I believe he played his best rugby for Leeds. IMO his long-legged physique would have more opportunities from the 2nd row to make these sort of rangy runs and could also provide some defensive cover on out right hand flank. At prop he rarely gets into his stride as he did against Catalan.
So why not move Delaney up to prop and Bailey into the 2nd row

For me Bails is a prop. Played well last year there and has made a career in blue and amber there. This year his roaming position has found his form roaming in parts. I'd rather see him in the middle of the park, both sides of the ball.
Delaney was never a centre, equipped very well at second row as I predicted and gets through a ton of work in that arera. At this stage of his career i'd leave him there.
If Bails had played second row its very unlikey he would have received the ball from the kick off to then produce the move of the season.

I seem to recall he first got his International call up when in the 2nd row (but could be wrong on that)
Delaney has had a good season in the 2nd row I agree, but he makes ground like a prop with a regular high tackle count.
How he received the ball on this occassion is not the point. What his run against Catalans showed was what he can do in space. At prop he rarely breaks the first line and offers little in go forward. If he were in the 2nd row he would get opportunities to run out wide with better chance of getting into his stride and breaking tackles. And you know how he likes to bully the backs eh BB ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)

He had to create that space though. Which he did smartly by identifying the weak defence.
He'll do what he wants anyway.
He does like to bully the backs, good. Let's hope he puts a big fat target on Tomkins. There's no doubt in a foot race he'd catch him. ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)

Racial stereotypes?
What in there is racial? And I drift in and out nowadays. Too much crap gets posted though and it bores me so I tend not to type.

Bailey makes a worthwhile contribution after moving to prop and from a position on the field a prop would return the ball from in that situation and that's evidence that he should be playing second row.
Have I got that straight?
