| Hasn't Wardle been playing in the 2nd row most of the season?
I'd go with:
Hardaker
McGilvery
Watkins
? Shenton/Moon
Burgess
Brown
McGuire
Walmsley
Aiton (Roby will get in now he's injured)
Millington
Taia
Minichello
Cuthbertson

| McGillvary has to be hands down the most misspelled player in the League, way ahead of Burrows, Maguire, Tompkins or anyone.

What would be everyone's 'Misspelt Super League 2015 Dream Team' in that case..?

| OP is pretty spot on with Shenton at 4 and Whitehead in place of Bateman and that's about it.

| I may be biased but if Cuthbertson is at 13 the only prop that has arguably had a better season than Peacock is Walmsley and even then I think he has tailed off whilst Peacock has improved at the business end.
McGuire is the best 7 this year.

Might not work as a 'team' but in their positions these are the players I've enjoyed watching.
Plenty more besides this year - Bowen, Bateman, Carney (J), Currie, O'Loughlin, Roby, Shenton, Sinfield, Vea, Ward (S) - could probably name another team besides.

| I think there is some bias on here. McGuire has had some fantastic games for us this year, highly contributing to a lot of our success. But he hasn't been overly consistent.
Gale at Cas has been fantastic most weeks. Has played less games than McGuire, only two less try assists, better defence, and more importantly has over 200 points to his name. I know McGuire isn't a kicker, but the fact is that will be taken into account when looking at a dream team.

I've left the loose forward spot blank, because I'm genuinely struggling to think of a loose forward who has been that impressive (how many times has Cuthbertson actually been named at 13 this season?). Otherwise you're looking at the likes of Tyrone McCarthy and Ben Harrison.

Moon has been fantastic. Would love to see him in there. Shenton has also (from what I've seen) been pretty good this year as well.

Walmesley has consistently been Saints best performer this year (which doesn't mean a lot currently, I know). His stats from the super league site would suggest he's probably improved as the season has worn on as well ( www.superleague.co.uk/matchday/player/20567). I'd find room for all 3 of Peacock, Walmesley and Cuthbertson in my team.

| To be fair to Gale, given the clubs he's been at how many "big" games has he played in, i.e. semi-finals and finals?

It was 2 league points wasn't it? Had the result gone the other way we would still be 1st in the Super 8s and they would still be 5th.
So no, not a big game at all.

So how many other big games has he played in for Cas this year? For someone to say he hasn't looked as good in the big games.
Are you now saying Wigan, Saints, Wire are bigger games than Leeds?

I don't particularly remember him standing out...but my memory is shocking
All I really remember is that being a very odd game with Leeds not turning up until 20mins. Actually was it Gale that Ablett literally walked through to get us back into the game?

So in other words, you just jumped in again? We both agree that of the big games he has played (league) there isn't a suggestion he has not performed? So it is wrong to say in the big games he hasn't been as good?
So why quote my post then?
