He's been here since before xmas mate the restriction on him and Kylie was the "working side" of the visa AFAIK and it was flagged up by the RFL as of yet there's been no announcement from the club that either player are cleared to play.

The fee will have been paid to the Administrator of the old company, as it was an asset of the old company which was sold. The deal would have been done prior to any announcement of the directors appointing administrators, simply so that there are some funds in the kitty to pay the Administrators fees.

An insolvency practitoner would not have taken the appointment without knowing where his fees are coming from, so Leeds buying Hauraki will effectively have done crusaders a favour. Good old Gary!!

The one fact about insolvency is that the IP always gets paid, even if nobody else does.

In all seriousness, it is expensive to administer the affairs of large companies and groups and nobody is going to do it for free! Some of the more complex cases go on for years and years.

Oh I know - we have arrangements with IPs who put work our way to sort out the tax affairs of companies in administration, hence we get to see the fees on the creditors reports.

There is nothing wrong with building bridges with other clubs. In the past we have done this and now have strong links with clubs that have the potential to find quality players. By getting on well with the other club we have more of a chance of getting first dibs on these rising talents

Totally agree. Nothing wrong with building bridges & creating links, even with what is effectively a rival company. You never know when the shoe might be on the other foot.
