What England set up?

There are no fixtures until next year. There may be a training squad but I doubt it will harm any player's form to avoid extra training sessions with McNamara.

In fact, after an intensive training camp over the autumn those lucky chosen 30 or so may well have forgotten how to play rugby, and even possibly forgotten what rugby is. The door will thus be open to new blood.

Isn't there a Tri-Series going on?

If there is they're doing a sterling job of promoting it.

I don't think they've actually announced the dates, or venues for the games against Wales and France G1, which I assume is why it doesn't show on the website.

However, advertising there is actually going to be one might be a start ?

The only value I can see in it is for it to be an England A type game where people on the fringes of the England setup get a run out.

That way, there is a reasonably competitive game for the fans, and the players get a bit of a step up from their usual league intensity
