I think it's called watching the game with both eyes. Matters not to me which team a player plays for if they have a problem with a running into contact technique that could possibly cause a fellow professional a cheap but crude gender realignment.

I'm fairly sure I made the same comments when it used to be a part of Stuart Fielden's game also. Thankfully it's no longer a part of eithers, at least that I can recall before Fielden's injury, which can only be a positive for all their opponents.

I concur, it's almost as if he can't channel the adrenalin, yesterday you could see he was pumped when the teams walked out but what with all the arm waving? He wasn't the only man on the field. If he was to channel that and do devistaing runs like JP the team would have carried more momentum going forward.

Along with being at the game, I've watched it again on iplayer and I can't really see why you're all picking on Bailey. He didn't seem to me to play much worse than quite a few others and neither did he seem particularly dirty.

Not quite.............he did threaten to square up to a Warrington player after a tackled late in the game...saw it was Carvell and quickly changed his mind.

Fair play to you, but personally I thought he let himself down at times yesterday.

You're a refreshing change to the usual opposition fans, however I thought he played poorly and the late hit on Hodgson was unecessary. Not as bad as the one on Riley 2 years ago but still not required.

Its all opinions mate, and I respect yours as much as the next man's, but I've never really rated Ablett, especially as a centre - Always seen him more as a bit of a workaholic, no thrills second rower, but then again, you guys see him on a weekly basis.

As for the Atkins comparison, I'd personally have Atkins as my centre - Lots more threat in attack and definitely offers more off-the-cuff, game-changing threat than Ablett, but again, it all depends what you want from certain individuals.

I'd take Atkins too! But he was rubbish yesterday.

Ablett has done well for us at centre and is certainly good enough to play there is SL every week. He links well with Hall but lacks a bit of pace to be really effective. He is one of those players every club has who are often under rated by other fans but are integral parts of the side. He has a very similar skill set to Gareth Ellis to be honest

Bailey's performance in the CC Final at Wembley yesterday very much resembled all his other performances in CC Finals at Wembley insofar as it resembled another collective steaming pile of stinking turds.
