| Ive just been told that if Ryan Bailey wins the treble with Warrington he will be the most successful/decorated player in English RL in SL era. Does anyone know if this is true?

| He'd just move level with Sinfield, Burrow and McGuire surely as he won everything they have minus their treble from last year.

Certainly a source of much amusement if ever it came to pass.

Peacock won 4 challenge cups, 2 for us, 2 against us
He has won 13 major trophies (SL or CC)
Bailey has only won 7(6SL 1CC) iirc so he is unlikely to catch up

| Another GF and Challenge Cup win will make Bailey the most successful active player in SL I think, as it will take him ahead of JJB?

| Bailey has 6 SL titles and 1 CC
McGuire and Burrow have 7 SL titles and 2 CC's
JJB has 7 SL titles and 2 CC's aswell, he also played for us in 99 but dont think he played in the CC so wouldnt get a medal.

| Does JJB get a medal for last year despite not playing in the final, and how does that figure in counting back historically for other players in the same boat, e.g. ones who played for GF winning teams but didn't play in the GF?

I think the club get given an medal each for the 25 man squad and then a certain amount to hand out as they see fit. I can't imagine JJB doesnt get a GF medal for last year

I'm sure JJB will have got a GF ring as they give out something like 25 rings or some figure like that. He missed the CC Final last year though and won't have a medal for that even though he did go up the steps to lift the trophy with Sinfield.
Ryan Hall was 18th man in 2007 so probably has an extra GF ring. Watkins in 2008, 2009 and 2011 didn't play in the GF but probably has rings for at least the latter 2 years so even though he's only played in 2 GF's he could potentially have up to 5 GF rings.

No, it's not true. Jamie Peacock will hold that record for a long time.

| I can't see Jamie peacock's grand final winners rings, and GF appearances ever being beaten. A player would have to start winning them at a young age and play in a team that consistently won them over a 15 year span or play for multiple teams that did, and I just can't see a combination of the precise circumstances required to even equal, let alone beat it. With how even super league is it's more and more difficult for a them to have consistent uninterrupted success. You may get a player that get's a few at a young age and you think ey up, but then the teams he plays for then loses a few of fails to make the gf and suddenly he's getting towards the back end of the career and there's no chance,
It's just not going to happen. Certainly not anytime in the relevant future. The human race will probably have more important things to concern itself with besides sport before anyone will get close.

I wouldn't be so sure, 13 major trophies could well be caught
Bailey is 31 and has 7 with a decent chance of winning 1 or 2 this year
Ablett is 30 and has 8
Hall is 28 and has 7
Any could play on 5 years if they look after their fitness
Hall looks the most likely if his long awaited move to the back row is made in a few years

Think he was referring to just GF wins/appearances alone.
Peacock has 11 GF appearances and 9 wins (lost to us in 2004 and the 2002 GF to Saints which featured the Long DG and Joynt's 'voluntary' tackle.)
Leon Pryce would've actually beaten it if not for injury. From 1999 to 2011, the clubs he was at reached the GF every year except 2000 so he could've had 12 appearances. However he missed the finals of 2004, 2010 & 2011. So he has 9 appearances at the moment but he could add to it if Hull make it this year although he looks a little out of favour at the moment.

| It would be amusing if Bailey played and was a winner in this years GF to see him do his dance in front of his opponents just before the final whistle.Especially if it was ???? Wigan

That's my take on it. By the "most wins in a final" measure - the old version, if you like - Bailey would become the most successful current player in SL with a CC and GF win this year.

| From his injury problems.
He's worked hard to get into that Warrington team and he seems to be staying there on merit. Barely putting a foot wrong, looking solid. Tackling everything, mopping up well. Tony Smith seems to be getting through to him.
Nice to see him steam into Fifita after the high tackle on Sandow. Lots of energy and posturing but nothing really happened
whilst leeds are thinking about playing London, he will be preparing for Wembley. Funny old game.

| The worrying thing is that it would seem our much vaunted medical/physio experts did not establish his true injury. That only occurred when he went to the Wolves.

Again Leon Pryce. 5 CC + 4 GF have him 2 ahead of Bailey so he'd tie with him.

Think it's 20 for Peacock as he won 3 LLS, 2003 with Bradford along with 2 whilst at Leeds.

| Do they get medals for LLS ? Having said that even if they don't I still think it should count on a personal honors collection
