Ahead of Harry Smith and Lewis Dodd? I don't think so.

He is if you know what you are talking about, rather than with Biase. I know they are good players, but sorry, but Lewis is the most natural best potential scrum half I have seen in the last 25 years. And I have been in involved in junior rugby throughout that period. Whether he makes it is another question, as that would require the right development. But potential wise, he is very very good.

Two Halton Hornets lads - such a shame Widnes have fallen apart; if they were a club with a bit of cash they could have a very decent team if they could hold on to the local prospects (Danny Richardson and MArk PErcival to name just the Saints examples).

I agree, I'm against pro clubs signing players at scholarship level, I believe they should stay with their amatuer clubs until at least 17 and bring back town teams up to that age.

| What sort of team did you put out against Saints? I know they fielded a young side and I didn't expect to see Leeds beaten so easily.

| Pretty strong, although Broadbent, McClelland, Holroyd, Mustafa, Trout missing, but the team was strong enough to do better.

did they lose a halfback early on?
I only saw the 2nd half but look like Johnson was playing halfback for that entire 40

| Saints talking up the win as a real backs to the wall effort.
Apparently travelled with only 16 players, lost Chris Kellett after 5 minutes and played the last 20 minutes with one fit sub.
Sounds like a good win and an off-day for the Rginos lads.

| 19s won 52-20 at Hull today. Stephens, Dupree and Mallinson all got 2 tries. Dupree and Corey Johnson superb.
First team could have a debutant next week v Warrington.
One bit if bad news is Jack Broadbent broke his jaw last week for Batley and has had a plate inserted.
Semi Final at Saints on Thursday for the depleted 19s. Fingers crossed they can make the Grand Final.

Cheers marty, seen the Broadbent incident, got his tackling technique wrong trying to stop Brad Day in full flight, looked a bad one.

| Just seen the highlights.
Dupree looks like he's benefitted from his spell at York, he plays with good aggression and he's a physical thing isn't he?
Johnson as usual just controls and probes, looks like he has all the time.
Stephens I have hopes for over the next couple of years. I'm not sure what his best position is yet: wing maybe or maybe in at 7. Reminds me a bit of Burrow with his pace of the mark and footwork.
Tindall always looks strong, and I often think Whitton has something about him, often under the radar I know but he runs well.
Walters has all the attributes but just needs to fill out a bit - he'll be some player when he does.
There are quite a few here I'd like to see given a chance in the first team next year - I guess they'll flog them and then have a good look at a few in the pre-season friendlies.

If they arent in the 1st team or on loan next year the reserves should be a reasonable comp for them to develop in.
Its big 2/3 years for our Acadamy lads we have a lot of potential stars amongst them & they'll need Coaching properly & chances in the 1st team to prove themselves.

Yes. Apparantly Leeds will choose which players will go to Fev on dual reg then select which Leeds players will play 19s that week and Fev players will fill in the gaps.
From my understanding the reserve competition will also be split into regions of Yorkshire and Lancashire also so I dont think there will be many games for the reserves. This however is up for debate at a meeting later this week.

| It’s still been a good season for the boys. People will see this result but actually there have been a number of successful graduates throughout the year.
Be very interesting to see how next year’s team goes.
