I'm always surpsied at how pi$$ poor the stats on substitutions are. It seems that whatever systems journalists/media people have they can't deal with someone going on/off multiple times. It wouldn't be hard to state the times of substitutions

According to Skysports.com we only seem to make about 8 interchanges per match. either their wrong or it's bad management

For many Bailey is labelled an animal or a thug (despite never being sent off) whilst Barrie Mac (with a woeful disciplinary record) just played it hard, the bit of mongrel every side needs.

Bailey is labelled lazy whereas whitey players with a far worse work rate are seen as grafters.

Bailey's GB caps from 5 years ago are hardly justification for him being singled out for criticism now.

Add to this that Leon Pryce is a thug and should be doing time but whitey players who get arrested get a far easier ride off fans.
