Injuring players, I’d love a specific example of it being that way round, because I can point to a nasty looking cannon ball on a Leeds player, but you’re not up in arms about that.

And to top it all off I’d be very surprised if lomax was smaller than myler or O’Connor and Ritson, so even that statement might be factually incorrect.

What were those obscenities chanted all game? And did they continue for the full 90 minutes or did we take a break at some time?
Which Leeds player tried to injure the Saints players?
And how many did they try and injure?
All of them or just a few?
I wasn`t aware that Lomax was the smallest player on the pitch but I will take your word for it.
But out of interest who were our hardest men who took out their frustrations on little man Lomax? I I don`t think any Leeds players received a ban but I do know that we had 3 players taken off injured and will be missing for between 8 and 12 weeks.
And finally what makes Leeds such a scummy club?
What with you having players like LMS, Lees, Sironen, Matuatia and Knowles in your ranks I would be careful how you respond to that last question.

From a neutrals perspective Saints are by far the dirtiest team in the league. Just ask Mike Cooper or Shane Wright who have had their seasons ended by being twisted in a tackle, Knowles and Lees have been banned for these two incidents. Some Saints fans need to get real, these are dangerous tackles - Tom Holroyd was lucky not to be injured when Sione Mata'utia held his leg as he was twisted. I don't believe that Wellens instruct his side to play this way but the Ref's need to get a grip. And as for Lomax he got the Leeds player sent off, that's cheating in my book, I am glad McDonnell escaped a ban in the end as it was underserved.

If its not Wellens that is responsible it must be a coincidence St's have set the bar with the level of quality rugby for a good number of years now but since his tenure there has been a change in this level and with it the underhanded tactics, the Lomax incident surprised me as I didn't think he was that type of player but maybe it's acceptable under the current coaching brand.

I don’t really get the hate for Lomax, it was abit of gamesmanship, something that happens a lot every game, it got McDonnell sent off which is causing the uproar but it’s not much of a crime really is it

It's like that Season that Sam Tompkins was trying to trap the tacklers arm every tackle to get a cheap penalty.
It was cheating and very unsporting.

Whats nasty about it though? Every team tries to win penalties and most players would say something to the ref f they thought it would get a ply sin binned or sent off. Its always been part of the game.

Most games you see players trapping arms in the tackle, diving on the floor to try get a penalty at the ruck, exaggerating contact. Its not just Saints and Wellens tactics.
