I'd say this is spot on. Yes, we gave too many penalties away. But most of them were as a result of us being knackered than over- aggression. The only other game we struggled with discipline was the first 20 minutes against KR. Other than that we've been fine.

Based on the quality you have, I'd guess this season has just been a blip for Leeds and you'll be top 4 again next season. Good luck

Ah, but success is all the sweeter after 11 years. (we did have a brief flirtation with SL, in 2005) Plus, we've had a good few trophies in the Championship to keep things ticking over. In fact, some of that Championship success, would have led to us having another spell or two in SL, had there been normal P&R.

To only win [iat home[/i by [i25[/i for a reigning treble winning Champion team is poor. All this while playing a Championship team (currently) who played very poorly by their standards is poor & Leeds were no more than [ibang average[/i for a Super Dooper League side.

Leigh were very disjointed, lacked respect of the ball (not clamping the ball in tackle) which allowed multiple offloads & metres gained, as did the needless penalties.

Lots of dropped ball & nonsense offloads from Leigh cost us big metres lost & the team as a whole looked farked, out on their feet from fairly early on in this game.

Lots of missed tackles & poor tackling technique combined with dropping off/retreating when Segeyaro & Moon ran at us created just the right conditions for Leeds to take an easy win, yet Leeds could have & should have run in 50+ but didn't, a measure of where Leeds are more than where Leigh are headed I feel.

7/8 confirmed departures for Leigh + maybe 1 or 2 more & 8 rumoured signings could change the outlook for Leighs survival in SL.

Leeds were playing on a 4 day turnaround with a bench of youngsters who only played small minutes with a HB combination of a centre and a HB with a groin injury who couldn't kick goals. We put a guy on kicking duties who has never kicked before and cost us more points and we were just seeing out the final 20 mins in a match that was also a dead rubber for us.

No I don't expect him to stop , I expect him to either challenge for the ball ( by looking where the ball is ) or not tackle until the opposition player has caught it
