Reread my original post ...MOST clubs I said. Traditionally in football the target man has been given 9 and the nippy striker 10.
Viduka, Shearer, Fowler, for instance - anyway the point is the fact that Paynter has been given 9 doesn't mean that he is replacing Beckford. So just calm it down and then you can start raving again if we haven't got a replacement by the start of the season.
As said, Hooper would be a great signing. |
