Pearce is supposedly going back to the NRL with the Roosters favourites to sign him

| Lachie Miller is a great signing IMO as there isn't a substitute for players having pace.
How many games have Field and French won for Wigan by just being too fast for the opposition?
Neither of these 2 players were house hold names in the NRL either.
He needs to be the starting 1 though and we urgently need a controlling half back to give him the space to cause havoc
Brodie Croft would be a great signing and even whilst paying a transfer fee, although a release fee for an NRL return would have to be far better than the ones in place when we previously lost Innes,Eastwood etc etc
Rumours have it that we also want Milnes from Hull KR,I'm not sure that he is the quality of player we need to solve our half back problems
I would love Hastings at the Rhinos down the line as he was great in SL at both Salford and Wigan

Can't count the occasions over the last few years when I've sat despondent waiting for one of our players to beat a man/break a tackle. Newman can do this, but he's been out so much over the last couple of years that he hasn't been able to bring his talent to bear. If you can get three players like that in your side you are a nightmare to play against. Big step in the right direction.

| If we have Miller at FB and could get Croft at 6, with Milnes as back up, I actually think I could cope with Myler at 7.
As long as we get Burgess.......

| Quote ="FGB"Taken from a decent Aaron Bower article...
Average metres per game (selected players)
Lachlan Miller – 182 metres (11 NRL games)
Matt Dufty – 117 metres (22 Super League games)
Bevan French – 101 metres (22 Super League games)
Jack Welsby – 101 metres (22 Super League games)
Also Miller has 78 tackle busts in 11 games, with Myler on 26 tackle busts in 19 games.
Potentially a very good signing this.'"
It's worth noting that the NRL count all run metres, not metres gained. So that's why the metres stats always seem a lot higher

He made a right old mess of that! Mind you I'd have backed off as well
He looked like he got lost where the line was, anyway most players make stupid mistakes, a few saints fans picking up on this and laughing which is ironic because Wesley isn't the best defensive fullback and has made some howlers also.
Ive read loads of comments from IKnightss fans online, all positive about him and think they're stupid to let him go.
I reckon we've got a good un here.

| Not to mention the incumbent Saints coach perhaps being the most over-rated fullback in SL history, if only by the Sky Sports commentary team. Pace isn't everything, but by comparison Wellens makes Richie Myler look like Offiah.

| Miller made a bad mistake in that video, but if you go looking for it you'll be able to find almost every fullback blowing a big moment. Its how you respond that matters, which is why I'm really pleased for young Hooley.
I see Smith has said Miller has been signed to play fullback. Assuming that's true I really hope there's no plan involving Myler starting in the halves. I have no problem with him being a utility sub, but never a starting half.

| I read it as more that Myler will likely be backup. At least I hope that's the case unless we've got a miracle worker at halfback alongside him.

| The quote from Smith is that Myler will get opportunities to play in the halves and cover full back. I took that to mean 2 halves coming in with Myler the back up for 1 6 and 7. Expect him to have 14 shirt next year.

Well iv’e read it as that, and unless we have 2 new halves signed up that how it will play out. If we do do sign 2 new halfs, then yeah he probably is cover for half and full back next season
