The effort he has given travelling over every week for a few years now has not been rewarded IMO.

I'll be surprised if Wigan even play Walters at prop. When I saw the announcement I assumed he was a direct replacement for KPP.

Has he played much backrow in the first team?

Is he athletic enough ? Can he play 80 minutes ?

As you said there are always key points in games and we are only looking at it from our side - look at the opportunities from the other side and they probably even each up. Our position in the league is a true reflection of how we have played this season.

Hopefully the Huddersfield game give everyone a lift in their belief and confidence.

He's always been a 2nd row until Smith came in. But he's not quick enough for an edge forward. His workrate wasn't the bedt when he played there. Moving him to prop forced him to up his workrate, and he's definitely improving in that regard

He has looked good last couple of weeks. He will add a fair bit more size and strength I think as he matures bit gutted we’ve lost him but hey…

I thought he had potential but wasnt sure about him, seems to switch off in defence sometimes but he has been very good these last two weeks. Fair play to him, he could go to the top.

This lad is a very good prospect and should have been given more opportunities.
IMO he will be better than big Mick who is not improving and a bit like Ian Kirk not aggressive enough.

More opportunities? He's started loads of games this season, and last. He even played in a GF!

Utter bollox, Oledski was miles ahead of Walters at the same age, he was immense last night his best game this season, he still not hitting too form thus year but easily our best prop last 3 seasons, still nit 25 until later this season.

Walters has been very good, albeit can still be a bit naive defensively. He should learn and has all the tools to go to the top.

I’m disappointed to lose him and can’t help but think if he’d have been a bit more patient he’s got the game time he wanted/needed and might have made another decision.

Having said that, we don’t know if there were other reasons like wanting to be closer to home?

Walters shouldn't play for us again. He's made his bed. Id rather give his minutes to other props, including one of our academy players.

When everyone is fit he probably misses out anyway, unless Tet is now done after the stroke?
