Agree. In terms of player renumeration would you really wanting to be spending big money on players who might be off sick with it for weeks at a time? I note Trueman was likening it to flu on social media the other day. Sad really.

I'm all for players being accessible to fans and all that, but they really need training in how to brand themselves and their role as ambassadors and role models. One or two post things which just look really ignorant.

I know it's contentious but I'd be asking all staff/players to get quadruple-jabbed or whatever, and then still bubble up where possible. If that happened you could almost see a point where no postponements are required, we just crack on because people would have all the protection available. One or two might still get ill but most will sail on. Then again it's working within Govt guidelines too with the pings and what have you. All a bit of a mess really.

It's a personal choice and I'd never criticize someone for their choice, I'm mildly irritated by all these kind of militant people who are tribal and go mental at anyone who's in a 'different camp' to them. However, I would question the logic. Surely the least risky option is to get a watered-down version of the virus, get the antibodies and then there's less risk if you come upon the virus, rather than not getting it, and then risk getting the full virus.

I've been jabbed as I don't want to potentially get a virus and be put out of commission for a week or two, I'm active and I hate not being able to use my time productively.

Last year it was 15. Suspect it will be higher more like 20 this year.

HKR have currently played 11 games, so if the benchmark is 18 they need to complete 7 more. Could be a big ask with the number of postponements flying around...

The current table says we’re in 7th on 16 points, but 6th placed Hull KR only have 12 points and 5th placed Hull FC 15 points. So in old money we are up to 5th.

So if you produce a league table on a completely different basis to the one actually being used, we move up. Well that's really useful

Next 2 games are big ones to get us in position. Although I've said lots of times that my main ambition is for next season, if we can make the play-offs this year it's quite open. I do feel on our day we have nobody to fear in this league.

Agree 100%. The frequency at which we're on our day needs to keep improving. But that seems to be happening, touch wood

Intriguingly our last regular season game is hull kr. In a 6th v 7th scenario there'd be conspiracy theories galore if we scratched to leave them one game short. And just as many if they did having played the required number.

If Catalans beat KR we go into 6th place tonight we still have a major chance too tangle in play offs.

I feel like bar maybe saints we can give teams a headache in the playoffs if we qualify. People look down their noses at us because of where we are in table but a lot is circumstantial due to screwed fixtures, we’ve repeatedly been dealt with fixtures against rivals with very little turnaround.

If we can make the 6 I hope we can screw up someone’s title challenge. Saints will win it, 100% nailed on.

Im not so sure about that.Saints will miss Fages in the run in.Can't see Catalan been bullied out of the play offs and they do have some mavericks in there.We will probably know more after this weekends match up.

If we can manage to limp into the play offs ( mathematically percentage wise) and whilst also having with a fully fit squad of players to choose from, Then IMO we could certainly ruffle some feathers in the play offs

Well for starters we surely can’t have worse luck with injuries , can we?
The squad looks way stronger in the key half positions too.
We may get a credible season next year, but the way things are going I wouldn’t even guarantee that.....

Have I read this wrong but Hull go above us whilst only winning half of their games, the percentage point system could be really cruel for the 7th place team!
