Are you fecking ting me. Luke Briscoe & McLelland on the bench (Yes I know 1 is replacement hooker), plus 1 inexperienced prop and a second row. Have we run out of players with track and trace or something? Seriously light bench on forwards. Especially considering Ava can only manage limited time.

Looks shocking team selection. What the point is in Briscoe in bench, for me just shows ineptitude.

Pack have laid a good foundation. Big Ava, Prior and Mikolaj strong and Rhyse Martin best game for a long time. They have given Leeming space to play and hes took advantage.

Really pleased with that 40 minutes.

Don't see why Briscoe is on the bench unless he's going to nine.

On the team selection, didn't they say there was a late change to the team? So I don't think they intended for Luke Briscoe to be in the side.

Playing with plenty of energy, good to see Ava doing decent minutes.

Good performance tonight hopefully we can continue with consistency now, hopefully no more covid cases for us and other teams. Our pack is starting to look balanced and laying a platform for our halves and outside backs to shine. Seumanufangai put in a really good stint after struggling last week. Newman took his try well great feet and reminds me of when Watkins first came through with his stepping ability. Hopefully we can get all the way in cup and maybe bring some silverware back to Headingley.

All joking aside, I didn’t expect that but I think the game plan was clearly to get out of the blocks quick with all the big men on and it worked a treat.

Long way to go but it seems we are getting to grips with the new style of play following the break.

When forwards run hard and tackle hard it really makes a difference. Thought young Tommy H went well when he came on.

Kruise really showed what he is worth tonight, Richie Myler showed his value for probably rest of his career. Man of the match for me. Liam Sutcliffe was good for me too, would be a miss if he does leave for utility
