What a see saw game that was. KRnt down to 12 men after 25 mins or so too after Harkin tripped the majestic Tony Currie. Only Leeds in that era could have failed to win that game. That Laws try on half time was absolutely ridiculous. Similar to Des Drummond at Fartown.

We really should have put Hull KR away in the first game, it should have never gone to a replay.

If I remember rightly we were 10 or 12 points up early doors to then find ourselves 24-14 down against 12 men was a nightmare.

When Paul Medley scored I thought we'd won it but we missed the conversion and that was that.

The replay was a disaster from start to finish and only being 11 at the time I hardly saw any of the match as it was that packed in the Kop I couldn't see a thing.

We played Fev in the CC semi, didn’t we? I have vague recollections.

We would have lost the final anyway that year, so as gutting as the semi defeat was, not quite the same as giving Cas something to crow about for many a year.

Leeds United are one of our customers, and I asked the finance manager, and she said they’d sold 9000 tickets, not including season pass members. Not a bad turnout at all.

Pretty sure he's injured, had a protective boot on the other week and missed the Keighley game whilst other fringe guys like Keinhorst and Handley played.

A, Classic before big game poor showing.

B, Looking at tonight and back at the GF do we need new match balls, the Rhino ones have been criticised by coaches as bars of soap and we have knock-on-athons. Yes I know part of the reason tonight may be attitude/focus.

The balls are garbage but some of the handling skills on show from us for the first hour was just abysmal. A get out of jail 2 points thanks in the main to Keinhorst. Forget that and move on quickly.

Thanks God that's done, and we can get on the plane for the big one next week. Defensively we look very good, although look to have a few injury problems, hopefully there's nothing too serious.

Got away with that one the lads put a shift in defensively but very poor handling & discipline.
Also losing 2 forwards & not using Ormanroyd until the last 4 minutes was ridiculous absolutely no need at all.
