That's one thing that really gets my back up. When one of our players gets smashed and the other team all coming running in, we always seem to be too hesitant. I'd like to see a bit more solidarity and them all come flying in like the good old days with Senior, Adamson, Barrie Mac etc. Show we're a side not to be messed with!!

As for the incident itself the lad had it coming. Asked for it, got it and was stupid as it fired up a previously lacklustre Leeds. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I think this is a massive exaggeration to be fair and certainly didn't warrant JP's response! Not saying it was the cleanest of tackles, but certainly no worse than a hatful of shots JP has been on the end of this season (in bigger games, from tougher players), yet he's never responded in such fashion before now

There is a difference between just punching someone, and being provoked. There has to be something to mitigate the offence, no matter which team, or division they play in.
